They need to release a new npc for me for staying loyal and staying on top of afk'ing in town all month. Maybe an npc that follows me around, checking me randomly, and yelling about somebody selling job points. During battle, they can obnoxiously spam bead pouches and skillup books.

Yes, I traded him in order: 100k, a hi-elixir, and an elixir. The protect that he gives me is definitely 220 defense. I just re-verified it.

Does Panacea remove amnesia? Or rather if any medicine in game removes it?
Removes erasable ailments such as Defense Down, and potentially removes Amnesia. Source Bgwiki

Well here’s my question: do you have to keep feeding him meds for him to work? Like putting coins in the Arcade? Because if that’s the case, that’s gonna get real old real fast; useful though he may be.

Yes it will. But note that if he himself has Amnesia he won't be able to as that's what stops him from using Potions. Sad part is many Amnesia abilities are AOE so it's normally going to hit him as well. But if it is a single target amnesia yes he can take it off.

The stuff in Upper Jeuno seems to be optional role playing. Haven't really noticed a difference in his AI before and after trading the elixirs/gil.

Since he uses Cover, it would not make a lot of sense for him to run around out of AoE range like Yoran or Ygnas, yeah.
I'll have to think of something I normally have difficulty with to try him on to see if he's any good

Sadly I tried that twice and neither time it worked. Will keep tinkering with it though.
