if you're on a melee job & need a way to pull mobs, one of the galka in rabao sells tathlums. No TP loss using them since they're ammo.

I didn't see it mentioned here, but -

It seems like the beastmen in Sheol B are incredibly, incredibly resistant to Sleep. Stymie Sleep will land, but other than that, they'll resist max acc, Frazzle III, ES Sleep. Bit of a downer when you could sleep fine in Sheol A.

Had no issues sleeping beastman things in B with a nq geo enfeeble set.

Which beastmen was it

I failed at sleeping any/all of the Efts, floor 1.
Sleep was a Resist, Break was a Completely Resists, and Stymie landed the Sleep.

Could just be an incredibly high dark resist, as I don't think nukes did too badly on them.

I mentioned earlier I could not sleep tonberries with a near max macc set with BLU used multiple times. Entomb also would not land. I just think the beastmen in Sheol B have an unusually high magic evasion stat or resistance to enfeebles.

BTW i think they just have very high magic evasion because i thought i would be blasting ***with leaden salute, but its doing shitty dmg. Im almost giving up on using COR and resorting to some melee DD because im taking too long on those beastman, and i suck at crowd control overall.

I'm honestly feeling the same way on COR. In Sheol A I could use Light Shot for crowd control on halos but everything seems to resist it in B. And maybe it's just me but it feels like the beastmen crowd around the halo more than before, leading to more links. So I've been eating dirt quite often.

So, I'm thinking if I keep doing COR I might skip halos entirely, or else, try another job.

Given my goal of capping my izzat costs on chest/coffers/aurums, i have not many choice but setting up an efficient way on clearing beastman. Today i managed to clear floor 1 halo but floor 3 fights quickly went south as i wasnt killing fast enough.

Another thing to notice, at least in my experience, is that with like 20 mobs in a short space there is more chance on lags, with also can lead to more casualities.

I was going to post earlier if anyone actually noticed any actually difference in MM strength. The only noticable difference I have seen is Qultada is slightly more annoying because his accuracy seems too good now and he interrupts more SCs than before.

Have used Shatotto 2, Tenzen, AAGK, and a few other random DDs. They all suck with MM17. So either this stat is completely bugged out does absolutely nothing. AAEV dies almost immediately after NMs spawn their adds, so it's nothing defensive if any use (takes 500 damage normal hits that are not blocked). Seriously, what does this stat actually do?

I definitely notice a difference. High strength AoEs, like Fluid Spread and Spinning Claw, no longer oneshot all of my trusts (generally only Koru-Moru dies now), and when enemies have roaming hate their targets usually live long enough to get healed now.

I think it might be something dumb like +1 to base stats per level

My guess is something like +1% attack/defense, +3-5 acc/macc/eva/meva per level. Noticeable, but isn't going to make your trusts powerhouses by any means.

It can be a small enhancement to trusts but imo the enemies had a way greater jump from A to B (for starters, it increased 5 lvs in the first floor plus all beastman got great magic resistance).

So, overall, i supose it just got harder to do odyssey B as solo.

This would be easy enough to test by having someone with MMXV parse a physical DD trust and compare results to someone of lower MM. But then, so what? If your trusts die to the first AoE of the first floor NM, who cares if they have better accuracy?

Whatever it does, it's not substantial enough to warrant any change in strategy between MM0 and MMXV. PLD trust still constantly in yellow HP after the 2nd floor and still need 2 WHMs because one can't cure fast enough--and this was back in Sheol A.

Considering my trusts don't routinely get oneshotted by Fluid Spread or most other strong AoEs anymore, it's a pretty big difference for me. The only NM (on lower floors) that still oneshots my trusts with AoEs at MM18 are Gloios (only under Mighty Strikes + Defense Down Aura) and Tabitjet.

Hm maybe theres a huge jump in stats between MM 15 and 18? Because in Sheol B too many things can one-shot trusts at MM15, Kuk(beist) 3rd floor body slam: trusts oneshot. Chelamma(scorpion) 3rd floor wild rage: one shot trusts. Taniwha(seamonk) 4th floor: one-shot trusts.

Luckily most NMs don't have those types of AOE TP moves but at least up to 15 (14+1) it doesn't help much in B.

I wonder if the distribution between A and B matters too or only the total.

Out of curiosity - do either of you have any active cheer effects from your Mog Garden that would benefit your trusts?

3rd floor B NMs are 9 whole levels above sheol A's base level, and floor 4 is 11 levels above; of course trusts are still squishy even with MM in the late teens when you ramp up the NM lsvels that much highwr, which is why I spwcified on lowwr floors.

Evil Weapons are blood aggro in Sheol B (but not A) for whatever reason. Did you have yellow HP?

Actually yeah I did and a party member reraised with yellow hp and aggroed through sneak/invis. 2nd run when I popped mimic and aggroed evil weapons and died away from mimic. I got up about 12 distance away from evil weapons and they aggroed, so blood aggro makes sense.

They aren't the only ones that aggro differently. Puddings aggro both magic and JAs in Sheol B rather than just JAs like they do outside. And everything inside seems to aggro sound and sight regardless of their families from what I can tell.

Not everything aggros sound, though lots of things had sound aggro added. For example, Wyverns are still sight only, but Buffalos are now both sight and sound.

I walked past bombs without sneak and they didn't aggro, then a mimic killed me. So bombs are not sound detection.
