As for emulation, me and my old roommate ran FF9 beside each other (his on ps3) mine on emulator, my picture was several times better, it's amazing.

I always go for Lv.100 and all items/cards anyways. I have to have the perfect games D: My FFX characters all have like 30-35K HP. Max Sphere Grids FTW. They also all hit for 99,999 lmao. I also love the macro systems on FFXII.. *** pimp that ***and max/zerk 2 DDs and just walk around as your healer. Auto heal them zerked *** while they follow and rape every mob in sight.

The dark aeons are beasts, not to mention penance, I still have my memory card from like 6-7 years ago with the 300+ hours save lol

but did you go back through and replace all 1+2+3 spheres with +4 and the shitty hp/mp with the higher ones?
or go and devour monsters on 8 to max stats?

I started a save on that, I've been meaning to pick it back up as I have X International copied and the save file, I just haven't converted the save file for use with the emulator yet...
I would start a new game but I don't feel like going through the start of it, nor looking up the menu selections for language etc.
My 8, 9, 10, 12 are completly maxed.
What I've been meaning to do again is pick up some more chocobo world and upload the items into 8, but I took the battery out of my Pocket Station and I don't have 8 installed on my pc.
I have the files for the psxmemtool somewhere if somebody knows how to package and where to upload them I'll be happy to torrent them.

Ahh then thats why. If I have the option i'm always on the hardest.
I started working on the task, and have several characters maxed out but I got tired of going and farming the activation spheres and decided to finish it when I got a hold of International. But there's guides, and from what I remember of them you can max out all stats and either HP or MP but not both.
Expert mode isn't exactly the hardest mode, it's just different. The upside is you can make your characters whatever from the start, the downside is that it has less nodes.
