I just think it's wild that the Prime staff is actually good. The int and mab make it a really nice pickup for mages if you don't have a fully augmented bunzi yet (which I don't ;w;) on top of being a great pet staff for Summoner, especially those who don't have a Nirvana yet (which I don't ;w;)

Of course, we don't know how impossible it is to get, but in a vacuum just looking at the stats, it's not too shabby.

Ultimately pretty lame since you're still getting a maximum of one bullet every 3 minutes

You can merit it to reduce the cooldown, though I think it's overkill. Also, recycle procs on weaponskills so "at least once every 3 mins" is probably more accurate.

Not amazing, but it makes an ability nobody cared about pretty useful if you have the weapons.

Can you? I thought extra merits increased the amount of ammo returned

Scavenge indeed does not have recast merits.

debuff/buff was added, text is

You will expire when the countdown reaches 0.

bcnm icon, if you use xiview and see "DEBUG" it's probably that.

Will it override the mythic glow? This is important.

My mistake, it is effect rather than rate. Recycle does still proc on WS potentially making a single bullet multi use so you'll end up averaging more than 1 use every 3 mins.

The refresh is obviously to makeup for not having infinite MP from Tiz.

Probably more obviously to make it an Excalibur (Refresh+3) replacement. But certainly also helps address the loss of Tiz MP recovery.

If only BLU could equip Excalibur, then I could do my own four step double light SC. Just weird that people are expecting these to have "Penis Size +10 in" on them.

Like, they for multi-stepping folks, it's kinda obvious (melee ones at least). Each of the "new" WS's add interesting SC attributes for building linked SC's. As long as the WS's aren't complete trash, then it has a useful purpose.

We didn't really need more damage options though, if you ask me. Why are they are adverse to unique effects these days unless its "enhancing magic duration" or "enfeebling magic potency" everything else seem off the table. I feel like those mog bonanza weapons were more interesting tbh lol

That depends on that weapon category, as I stated above some already have great SC linking ability, while others have terrible ability, and most are in the middle.

As for "unique effects", there is nothing really left in the game they could give you that would be worthwhile. Anything truly special would require more coding effort then they are willing to do.

Honestly people were just wanting something stronger then Naegling Savage Blade Spam so they could justify not using Naegling to spam Savage Blade.

I mean, they already did it for the mog bonanza weapons so thats not true. There are plenty of things they can do, hell just add a +% to abilities we already have... its not hard to do. It would affect balance the same way as vomit stat upgrades and the generic WSD and such they always add. I would like some duration+ to blue magic, potency+ to blue magic. On other jobs I'd like to add debuffs to certain bloodpacts or ***they used to do in the past like giving carbuncle the regen effect when the gloves were on etc.

These are just all lazy really even given what they've done in the recent past.

Making my prediction now:
My thought process is the prime upgrade system is treated similar to relics, Eikon being the '1 byne bill' eventually needing a 100k byne bill, but obvious not at that scale.

We know having stage 1 in inventory unlocks stage 2 rocks (Eikondrite) to drop in the upstairs, logically the next step will be the downstairs.

Having stage 2 unlocks stage 3 rocks to drop from the basement. Need more than 1 to get to stage 3, unlike Eikondrite. Maybe 5-10?

Having stage 3 allows for a trade? w/ Ruspix, need multiple Eikondrite and/or t3 stone to purchase t4 stone via a chunk of Galli, maybe even 100k. Ratios unknown, but more than previous.
- This is mainly copium... most of us have well over 100 Eikondrite and would like it not to have gone to waste.

Final stage requires further gathering of rocks and trading via Galli to purchase a shiniest rock, and in addition you'll need 1 of the other datamined item, 'Voracious Psyche', per Prime Weapon which is a 100% drop from Aminon? This would be the "shocking" aspect of the final stage since very few people actively pursue fighting him.

Fully expect the final Valhalla arena to be strictly for the final fight and be solely linked to acquisition of rings. Similar to how the Hades arena is only used for Hades and nothing more.

And once you got all the rocks to trade in for rocks to get more rocks, you can get "THE ROCK" to finally claim your prime.

oh wow, I got my days way off on this one. No visual data found in the update, they added copies of the prime weapons for the further stages, but can't tell if there is an aura yet.

Thanks Funk and Chia for all your hard work

I'm a bit unconvinced with the need of Eikondrites, but I'm not ruling it out completely.
The fact that it stops dropping once you have a Stage2 Prime (and the fact they didn't "fix" this) is an important factor.
Furthermore, SE has very very few times (can think of only one time atm) to let players accumulate a "currency" that would be used latter for something else.

While these two things clearly lead me towards thinking that Eikondrites won't be necessary for Stage3 and onwards, at the same time I can't deny the fact that Eikon still drops and stack to 99 is... confusing. It sorta leads you to think that there will be an use of sorts for Eikondrites, right?

Yeah, mipmapping seems to be broken here too.

They changed mip mapping to draw distance a few years ago in the settings, as an on and off setting and with windower you could set it from 1 to 6. I don't know what they did yesterday but it doesn't work at all now.

I'm worried it's not a bug and they meant to do this, in which case they ruined modding of zones now cause it shimmers like mad.

New bard song description in the UI file

"Increased physical damage limit."

My guess is it is for the new bard prime instrument, if using an old xiview it will say "resistance against charm" which is just the wrong description.
