Updated OP:

A = XiView 3.4 (with no menu changes, aka 3.3)
B = A + menu modifications (larger menu boxes and menu icons)

If downloaded the mod previously from the last few days and want to get rid of the menu changes, install the orig files first to put everything back to original XI and remove all mods from my zip and then install B (if you don't do this, the menu icons will be too big for the 51.dat file from A now)

Orig files will also revert the region mod.

Does XIPivot work with 280/15 and 324/95? I wanted to try out the menu icons(ones shown with cure hearths) but not loading. Not sure if need to put in main folder. Thanks.

I don't think so, but maybe with Ashita.

I just put them in the proper folder myself, if they are overwritten I know there is an issue then anyway.

Download the zip on the first post (either A (font/icon changes) or B (font/icon changes and menu changes))

There are 3 mod folders in the zip and they vary the width of the name plate.

Pick "mod original width" to start, so open that folder from the zip you downloaded. In there it has a folder called rom.

Leave that window open and open a new one and goto your FFXI install folder.

Goto FFXI/SQuareEnix/Playonline/SquareEnix so you have both windows open like this

Drag the "rom" folder from the zip to the FINAL FANTASY XI folder to copy the files inside over to your install, click yes to merge folder then yes to copy and replace the dat files.

To revert these changes:

Do everything above except pick the "orig" folder from the downloaded zip to reinstall the original files and remove the mods.

RA, I was wondering, I use partybuffs addon and those icons are now mismatched to the ones in here. Would it be possible to get those for the addon? I was also wondering how you felt about doing a more HD version of those older existing icons to use with the larger menus? The main reason I ask is I am very used to the older style and some of them are easier to quickly tell apart for me like bard/cor buffs. Either way the skill and work is most impressive. Thank you for willingness to keep working on the mods /kneel.

Please explain what the heck the difference between Condensed 1 and Condensed 2 is vs Original Width? Its so vague and the read me doesn't cover it at all.

And also my buff icons aren't changing.

Normal is the original spacing and font width, C1 is an attempt to make the icons and font less stretched and c2 is mainly for widescreen monitors.

Yes. My fonts, menus and master stars have all changed with the swaps I did with X Modify, but only my status icons aren't changing. Unless... its changing to the other icon pack two in the menu... hold please.

Edit: That didn't fix it. Lol

"tex hammer" application in the XI modify folder.

Yeah, for some reason they won't change and I've definitely replaced all of the dat files and reset multiple times.

xmodify folder is for adding different images into the mod, ignore that if installing. Use one of the 3 folders at the top

Was there a different set that changed the song colors? Pretty sure I updated XiView and got blue marches, red minuets, yellow minnes, but Aria used to be black and now it's just the default gray.
