The reason it's taking me so long to start progress on my shield.... It's alot more than 300k per guild.

That's anywhere from 620 ~ 655k for WOODWORKING.
Each craft has a set in stone 4 items for titles; Skill+ item, Skill+ body, R/E furnishing, Signboard
And they always add up to 520k. The KI's Vary by guild.... but if you're singing up with a guild to clear it out and be done w/ it forever, you might as well not skimp.
Woodworking's KI's are 100k for the 4. Cooking's are 8k/30k/30k/30k for 98k total. Goldsmithing has 5 at 10k/10k/10k/40k/40k for 110k total. You get the point
Regardless you need to level from 70->88 minimum for all the title items, and to 98 if you want the expert flex and way of the X guild.

If you get all the ones that you can unlock at 70(including briefly unlocking to get the 70-80 items), I think it is only 385k GP to get the other ones during the trip to 110. I am building up GP at my finally guild (leather) before I do the same thing. May wait for a crafting skill up campaign, too.
reminder to take advantage of the mog garden cheers for skilling up crafts, I always forget lol
You can get the KI for each guild at 70 or whatever so just get the titles from the armor/signboards and get the KI anytime after.

its actually 100k 150k and 200k for the 3 titles but gotta take the craft to 88
so 450k total gp points and 30k if u wanna make the stall same time

The reason i stated 300k is because i have already gotten everything (Titles / Items / KI) from all crafts up to Artisan because i didn't want to delevel main craft, i just stopped there which means i need the Veteran (lv 88) Item / Title (150k)Veteran Sign / Title (200k) and might as well get get the Way of XXX (Lv 98) KI for 20k for total of 350k per craft and i didn't feel like being specific.

I also got Silver Mentor status without getting any Thumbs up today...was silver as soon as I dinged rank8 and zero chance I have gotten 50 Thumbs up, I just started being a mentor a week or so ago. (not sure if this is new info)

The info is wrong here, it is not 20 thumbs to silver (less) and it is more thumbs to gold. Your status will not actually change until next RL day.

Yeah, bronze to silver is fast. Silver to gold is much slower.

Was pushing through the Adoulin Quests to get the Golden Cordon Shovel so I could flag Ygnas Directive I. Unfortunately, I did not see exactly when it ticked over. If we're certain that Mastery Rank doesn't update until you zone it could have been any one of the following:
* 99/99 Adoulin Quests complete
* Title: Assistant Extraordinaire
* Getting 20,000 Bayld from Reja Ygridhi for finishing all City Quests
* Getting the Golden Cordon Shovel from Reja Ygridhi
* Title: Contributer from the Shadows
I didn't check my Mastery Rank between completing the last quest and getting the Shovel until after talking to Ploh Trishbahk to start the Ygnas Directive quest line.

Dinged on completing Slaughterhouse III for the first time for Bastok. Things I've been working on slowly since they retooled the Mastery Rank requirements:
-Levelling up/unlocking Monstrosity species and unlocking instincts.
-Learned all spells.
-Chocobo digging @96.
-More Campaign Ops.
Low-hanging fruit I am still missing before ranking up: Cloud of Darkness HTBF title and the new Sortie RoEs. Haven't participated much in Vanabout at all.

Based on this, since you're missing a sizeable amount..
Compared to me things you have over me:
- More Monstrosity, mainly 1 99
- All Vorseals
- An Escutcheon
- Races all done
- 1k Mog Garden Titles
- 2 Fish Ranking titles
- ~30 more campaign ops than me
I have other things completed over you, so it's reasonable to assume that certain things here are worth more, such as an Escutcheon

At what point in time did you delevel your crafts to obtain all of the crafting stalls and titles? The re-tooling of Master Rank, happened around November or so?
ive deleveled my main craft with shield now have 5/9 stalls cooking is the worst to lvl for the titles and stall

I took a break in October of 2023 and returned earlier this year, I was Rank 8 before I left and I had already delevelled crafts for items, stalls and KI. I think it was November 2025 when the Hoxne Earring was added that they changed how Mastery Rank was calculated? I know when I logged in for the free login campaign that December that my mule who I had left at seven had jumped to eight.

I was able to get Slaughterhouse II by doing about five runs of Slaughterhouse I. Same amount of II runs for Slaughterhouse III. Slaughterhouse IV was unlocked from the beginning - I assume it's available if Beastmen control the northern territories?

Most op unlocks can be summarized as 'do the previous tier n times', but n will vary. Sometimes it's 4, sometimes it's 20, and it's not dependant on the op type. Possibly has to do with the tactical assessment, but specifics aren't documented anywhere.
I've from from ~20 ops to ~230 ops complete in the last month, on a quiet server where I'm reasonably sure LSmates and I did the majority of the ops required to unlock each stage. The times one op type unlocked another were:
1. Magna Cache 1-3 unlocked the same level of Steel Resolve 1-3
2. Street Sweeper 1-3 unlocked the same level of Delta Strike 1-3
3. Bridge to Far unlocked after Crimson Domino 2. Vanguard-X 3 was already open.
4. Search and Seizure unlocked somewhere while opening Iron Anvil and Crystal Fist 3 or 4
5. By Light of Fire unlocked after several completions of Pit Spider 3
6. All area specific ops - Kinslayers, Prying eyes, IVs/V's, Bailey Borer, Frozen Flame, Hazardous Materials - unlocked when regions were under the right control, regardless if the 3's stage is open

Yeah I knew the 'x completions' requirement. Brave dawn took me 20 while alot of old resources said 16, so I assumed there was variance based on background resources that arn't thoroughly understood/tested.
I just hadn't seen any notes on Slaughterhouse, but that's great to know, very easy to clean that one up compared to Iron Anvil (miserable as ***and not multi boxable) or Cut and Cauterize (multi boxable... but extremely tedious/long per clear)
That being said, I was going to ask about Crimson Domino and Vanguard X. These I've notices week by week that certain tiers are unlocked and others are not. You're saying that subsequent completions of these also had success in unlocking them?
EDIT:
And while on the subject, any clue what triggers Smokescreen III? I've gotten I and II based on nations having missing territory and I've gotten IV and V based on northlands control(?) but I've yet to see III available in any of the 3 nations.
