Nyaarun is talking out of his arse. A lot of idiots saw a pre-release version of the game client during a stream with yet-to-be released quality of life improvements and misperceived it as S/E using windower or ashita.

I know he is, and that's why I was calling him out on it.

While I haven't seen this stream, or know how old it is, I do know developers use a special dev build, kept internally, to test future implementations. There can be a lot of differences between a retail client build, and a dev build, and some of those changes don't always get transferred over, or take time to due to issues.

Apparently you didn't read the entire comment chain. He was saying the DEVELOPERS are using windower, which is an absurd claim. I agree with there are a lot of normal users that use windower, but also don't claim that there is no one that doesn't, because those people exist.

1) No one plays the game vanilla, not even SE

2) Most players are not RMT

3) Ergo, we can conclude using addons does not lead one to become RMT.

4) SE has repeatedly improved the vanilla game due to the existence of addons, so they both know and agree the overall experience of menial tasks sucks and is tedious.
I'm Skeptical about this. Lots of players create new accounts to pump them up with relics and master jobs to put them on sale. This has been going on for several years now, Thats why even my mom use up to 4 alts for everything/gil cap for rmt.

Thursday morning is when they seem to go out.

But more interesting is it seems to only really be the last of the month. They've banned a character of mine every last thursday of the month since october.

I thought it was Wednesday morning 3 AM my time (Central US time zone) that bans came around and not Thursday. I know their billing cycle will kick me around 3 AM the day my monthly sub ends and I have to buy more crysta. I thought they were connected in a way around that 3 AM time. *shrugs*

Guess it's 30min 'til impact (should there be one). Tho I doubt such a smallfry like me would be targeted. But you just never know these days.

Installed Windower when I got my 3440x1440 screen.
May have tried "Fisher" a couple times, but that's it.

That would be one way to end my addiction on this game.
Would be a shame too since there isn't anything like it.

I miss partying (real parties, not book farming at level 10-30) but beside that,the graphics are superb given the age of the game, and the crafting matters as much as it did in old Ultima Online (anything that came after was lacking, except maybe gear augments in SWTOR).

But if it happens, it happens. I guess like everything in this universe, my characters are bound to die eventually. :-)

I thought the transition from clicking addons on Windower to RMT was drastic enough to make that clear...
