Global warming is a scam. CO2 does not drive temperature. Period.

It never has, it doesn currently, and baring a shift in the phase state of the universe, it never will.

Secondly global warming policy has little to do with clearig the underbrush from forests.

the sierra club says do nothing at all and let er' burn. If that's the tact your community is utilizing I'd humbly recommend not building structures in fire prone areas.

It didn't start in a forest, it started in grassland from a clearcut.

You don’t have to rake the whole forest. If you stop making it so hard to build then the people will do most of the work taking care of their owm property.

I admit it's a good solution, you can't have forest fires if there's no forest.
