its an indictment of the "good guy with a gun" theory

no it isn't.

it's one example of one cop making one mistake bfd.

Exactly. It's also completely irrelevant to the point. The good guy with a gun stopped the bad guy with the gun. What's the alternative, that we take away guns from all security guards? Call me crazy, but I'm willing to guarantee that a vast majority of them are more concerned about being kept safe from criminals than they are about being kept safe from cops.

I don't think Nikolce is unfamiliar with the term "indictment".

condemn it all you want comrade chanti... it's called confirmation bias. if you think cherry picking incidents like these and then trying to exploit them as so called "examples" proves anything but your own bias you're wrong.

The only thing that should be condemned is using FFXIAH as your personal dictionary!

I never understood the outrage behind burning books. Are they an endangered species? Will the world implode if there is one less copy of Atlas Shrugged?

You have to remember that books were the only way to communicae complex thoughts for hundreds of years.

Policing books (used to) = Policing ideas

Policing books (used to) = Policing ideas

And burning those books was the method used for censorship by governments / religions.

I'm aware of all that. I'm talking about burning books in the present day.

Idk, I'm of the opinion that we are too stupid and unlucky for modern society to be sustained. Under that assumption, one could kiss the internet / computers goodbye, at which point we'd revert back to books and the spoken word, ect. that's all pure fantasy though, so I guess I'll just shut up for now.

Today book burning is almost always done in the name of religion. And it still is a form of censorship.

That's quite enough for me to be against the practice.

Acosta was acting like a whiney little kid, and should have shut up and given up the mic, waiting for his turn another day. CNN can send someone else to the whitehouse and see if that representative can behave like an adult.

I don't like Trump, but he's the *** president at the moment, at least feign decorum for *** sake.

which is kind of funny to say, given trump's advocacy of schoolyard taunting and ***. The point remains though, he is the highest ranking child in the land at the moment.
