Bubble Trouble: A Geomancer Guide
In the set you posted in bg-wiki.com/bg/Talk:Cardinal_Chant, are those amalric gages supposed to be +1? Otherwise, MBII should be +10 instead of 11.

ignoring INT 3step skillchain MAB=100+24subjob+20jp+42gifts+374=560 MB=100+40+35+22=197 vs geomancy galero +3 MAB=522 MB=100+39+28+44=211 dMAB=-38 dMB=+14 % improvement Ea hat MAB: 38/522=7.3% Galero MB: 14/197=7.1% Even with an extra step in skillchain to assist the galero set & cap dINT looks like Ea hat wins. Got my 11% Indi duration on Gada within like 100 stones. Guess I got extremely lucky there? O.O

nice thats a good boost. I'll be trying to get me a second :)

no? Im saying it adds 13 seconds OVER solstice, essentially being 28 seconds to solstices 15
Ah, thanks for the clarification. Still not worth it to me though, ha.

Are we in situations on end game content where we're at capped dINT and MAcc? Honest question since I don't actually know. I sometimes think we aren't, but that could just be the good old magic wall *** with me. INT: depends, some of the higher stuff I've stumbled upon INT #s for are just too high to cap anything but the lowest tier nukes.
If you have all the buffs, maybe. Slightly lesser content should be possible though. Magic accuracy: Can definitely hit excellent mAcc if not cap'd on most anything with proper buffs. Apex Umbril Lv.138 INT:362 Warder of Courage Lv.150 INT:426 Kouryu Lv.150 INT:474 Offline

That -20% int should rly help bring ppl close to capping your dint for magic setups.

Apex Umbril Lv.138 INT:362 Warder of Courage Lv.150 INT:426 Kouryu Lv.150 INT:474 I really wish there was a global monster data base with all this stuff in it. my source was https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1skK7mneeWudXdKFKCiGRLmoV930J5lBRPy-yiQmKq3s/edit#gid=1610588047
Only thing I can find on the wiki are the apex #s. edit: nvm, found more stuff down the resistance pages occasionally. I've been using this set for GEO DT so far:
ItemSet 363313 Kinda wanna move to this other one now: ItemSet 363314 Any improvement or suggestion that you can think of? The Resin aug on the capes is different of course, PDT 10 for the first set, DT 5 for the second. Ideally I'd love to use different pants on the second set (Assiduity+1!) but I can't get the necessary DT without that slot (and without sacrificing Head/Feet, where I want to keep using Empy+1 and Relic+3) Stats of the two sets Set1:Set2: I'd say second set is slightly better. +27 Meva, slightly more MND, bit less INT, Refresh+1, more Eva/AGI, Resist Silence+105. ...not really that big of a difference. Shamash Robe is not that big of a game changer, since Mallquis+2 exists. Now if Mallquis didn't exist at all Shamash would be quite a boost, but as it stands now Set#2 is barely better than Set#1 Feel free to correct me please! 46 PDT
21 MDT Before Dark Ring, Don't know what's on the dark ring but if you got 6 PDT you can lose the pants and have 49 PDT Or Run Gelatinous+1 and get 50PDT for -1 MDT Can also lose Isa belt for Slipor, then you can start shifting stuff around. Added data under 2 spoiler tags, your numbers are wrong Eiryl.
Cape on first set (Mallquis one) is PDT-10%, on the second set (Shamash) it's DT-5%. Both achieve the same xDT numbers with slightly different gear. Btw my Dark Ring has PDT-5, MDT-5, BDT-3. In Set #2 I've been thinking about swapping legs for Assiduity+1 (refresh+2!) and swap Dark Ring for Gelatinous+1. But that would leave me ~1% short from capping PDT and would put me like ~5% short of capping MDT? Probably less, how much MDT does Shell5 give now, after the WHM patch? 27%? But still, my Dark Ring is so good it really would be a shame to trade it for a Gelatinous+1, I think. Edit: Oh Slipor Belt is a thing, it's nice I guess. Would lose a bit of def but lol@that. I'm using Isa belt basically just for the pet regen 46/21 before dark ring is what you have. Didn't know what was on it.
Gotta go back and get that 6/6/6 ring. iirc, something with MDT/BDT is counted twice. If you have 6M 6B you either actually get 12B or 12M. I can't remember who verified it or where, but I do remember it was said and no one argued it. No it's just BDT.
The MDT on the Dark Ring counts as MDT and BDT. Taking mine as an example, it says PDT 5, MDT 5, BDT 3. It's actually PDT 5, MDT 5, BDT 8. That's as far as I remember the Dark Ring tests, those were a loooong time ago. So yeah while my Dark Ring ain't perfect, it's pretty good, feels bad to let it go in a DT build where I can afford the -20 HP. Ragnarok.Martel

Yep, that's how it works. Sechs has it right.
FYI, all MDT augments appear to double as BDT. At least everyone I've ever seen a test for has. Now if only farming those weren't so soul crushingly boring... |
