The Haste is overkill and Armadaberk would free up the stp in goading.
But thats a Nyzul fodder build.

Edit: Mostly, I was looking at pre-AM sets, as alot of options open up when you have that extra haste to play around with.

Question... How do i trigger a set change in spellcast when a buff comes up or wears? Specifically aftermath for apoc...
It works when I re-engage with aftermath up, but not if I just WS and stay engage.

You don't, because Spellcast doesn't and has never been able to do that. Best solution is to trigger a dummy spell with AutoExec.

You can make it work /WAR with 54STP like the set posted above, again, true 5hit.
Atma question: for doing trials, normal DD atmas, or anything special for cata?
May want to drop RR since it greatly increases your risk of killing the mob prematurely.
Barring regain or STP food, I'm getting better numbers with a 6hit. Given the low acc of such a set, capped attack is almost a given, which constricts useful options somewhat... this seems to edge out the usual Valk setup ever so slightly in such a situation:
I'd also argue that this set is actually be more accessible than a Valk build. Abyssea notwithstanding since it's partially dependent on the STR gained but DRK in Abyssea and all that.
EDIT: Forgot to note, that set only works with buffs+LR up since it's 13% haste. Otherwise Valk/Ace's is still favorable.

How works switching af3+2 head over other options on BLU spells when CA is up? Or Berserk down/up sets? I tho they works like that and you dont need to manually look if you have buff up to choose right macro.
Logically you should be able to macro TP set and it should check you "buff" and equip right gear no?

It can put on gear depending on buffs, BUT, it does'nt automaticly swap gear to the right sets right away, unless you trigger something.
Like, you use Berserk -> berserks gets active and spellcast changes your gear back to what it was before berserk was up.

Off-topic somewhat, but I didn't want to start a new thread for this. I'm seeing lots of Armadaberks being used so question to the Armadaberk owners. In terms of Synergy and augmentation, is getting Store TP on it just dumb luck? Or is there a way to get Store TP more often? I'm currently 3/40 on seeing Store TP, the highest being +3. I realize it's not a large sample, but suffice to say I'm moderately frustrated so I'm curious if I'm missing something.
I always am within 1 of the elemental balance, though usually I match it. I also take impurities below 10% every time. Not sure if these affect it, if anything affects it. Just hoping to hear some experience as I'd like to maximize my set easier if possible.

I went 1\25-30 (lost count a bit) on stp+5 da+2 on NQ ebody, so it's just luck.

I was going to use the 5-phorcys set above, before the novelty started to wear, and it requires a little more tweeking. I'm gonna spreadsheet a couple sets later when I'm not busy at work. I feel this set here is great on double attack attack and acc but I feel like it lacks +str.
