Final Fantasy 7 had the best music of any video game in history if you ask me. Memorable pieces that you will remember still when your 80. I had the piano collection playing at my wedding reception while people were being seated.

Might be the allegory speaking, but I notice that generally the 3-D Mario games have absolutely phenomenal soundtracks compared to the typical side-scrolling platformers he's in.

i just played legend of dragoon for the first time ever, towards the end of last year. it was a pretty good game, not best ever, but i guess i didnt have the nostalgia factor of playing it 13 years ago. i did really like the ending though, made me happy.

to me though, this was always my favorite song in the game...

This song really fits the mood of the fight and the recent events of the story involving Shadow.
Side note, I don't understand why people have such a hard time with this boss. I have this game on Dreamcast, GameCube, and PSN and i find it very easy. I hear people complain about falling in to the water but if you watch the floor you notice the tiles of the outter rim are a dark color so its easy to know when to jump... But whatever...
