Priceless Remembrance Codes Still Valid

Hey all, I am in Japan and stumbled across a sealed copy of "Final Fantasy XI Priceless Remembrance." I had no idea that it comes boxed with codes for in-game items.

Despite their being a warning that the codes expire in November of 2017, I can confirm that THEY DO ACTUALLY STILL WORK. Today is March 26th 2026.

I'm posting this because if you consult the internet, there seems to be confusion on this matter. Some people say the code won't work, and the only other mention is of the code working in March of 2025 (last year).

So, yeah. It still works. They still sell it at the Square Enix Garden store (the only FFXI item in the whole store, sadly).

I was also deeply saddened by this fact, but if you're looking for FFXI merch and are still there you can find some fairly cheap copies of the art books on Amazon.jp and get them delivered to a postal point near your hotel. For me, I had it shipped to a 7/11.

I found some shops sold the FFXI cards, and FFXI plushies in Akhibara, but otherwise found very little FFXI related.

I bought a bunch of copies last year for my main and a few mules, they’re still floating around eBay for £50/$65 or thereabouts if anyone wants to grab one still.

A friend and I each got one of these last year. We can confirm that they certainly do work. Life is better with at Spinet.

Is the code from the Priceless Remembrance Blu-ray 4 or 5 spots? The management site has 5 boxes but mine has 4 sections of number/letters on a slip. I don't remember if I bought it used or not since it's been years.

It just sucks that Rainbow pells are one per character... I've got choice paralysis with mine and just sitting on it

The code is found on the back of the J card. The card inside is just a registration card.

I went with the chocobo hat that turns party members into an egg and then a random-colored baby chocobo.

I recently purchased the 1000 ffxi piece puzzle brand new on eBay in the hope that another code was found inside but sadly only a warranty/missing puzzle piece card is included. I believe the puzzle and the special memorial book sold back then that included rainbow mog pell codes only came through email.

You can only claim one code per character, and some items aren't sendable.

I'm in Shibuya basically every week, so if there's something in the store that people want and we can figure out a way to transfer payment, I'm happy to pick it up.

Shipping is probably likely to be a mess, and possibly expensive, but if you just want the code and want to pay retail price and not a scalped price it's no skin off my nose.

I heard all of the codes don't work anymore though, except this one I guess? I wanted Moss Green Grisaille for the Capacity Points +15% and Murrey Grisaille for the Experience Points +15% (the only furnishings that give that high moglification boost) still. I wish they would release at the Curator Moogle too but that's another story.

I'm unfortunately in the process of moving house, so I packed away the Blu-Ray recently. But if anyone wants a code, let me know. I don't suspect that I will be playing FFXI anytime soon, and I have the DVD packed away.

I claimed two last year, with one the year before that.

I mean you can technically claim 16 codes on one account, but a character is only allowed one specific instance of "Vana’dielian Bounty I" which is what the rainbow pell is under in the rewards code history. And pretty much every single item is non sendable. I think the Nomad Cap is the only item that can be sent.

These are the only rainbow mog pell items that can be sent on the same account:

Nomad Cap
Moogle Cap
Gobbie Gavel
Shell Scepter

Personally, I really wish all of the items could be sent on the same account, but especially these too:

Town Mog shield

Are you saying you were able to do this one the same account and character? 1 Rainbow mogpell per character ...per year? (Otherwise if you claimed the rainbow pells multiple times it would have to be once per character)

You didnt look very hard because we just talked about this a few months ago. I got 5 of them and confirmed all the info here and even said it doesn't let you do more than one per character. The sendable ones are nice. And people mentioned the shield being nice to extend food duration

Just to re-iterate, what you've said. I just confirmed that while I can register a new code on an account, you will only be allowed to choose a character on the account that has not already received a code.

TLDR: Nothing's changed. Still 1 rainbow mog pell per character, forever. (This is a shame, because you could have say Nomad Cap and Nomad Moogle Shield at the same time, if you just new ahead of time one was delivery-box'able on the same account). SE gonna be SE. :/

Interesting. I am not able to find any info on what redemptions = what code names or limits. Going through https://wiki.ffo.jp/html/34898.html for the item, and the update notes of its release https://wiki.ffo.jp/html/34936.html I am not seeing any kind of mentioned limit? Where did you get this info from?

I have a "Vana’dielian Bounty I", "Vana’dielian Bounty II, and "Vana’dielian Bounty III" on my SE account. I've redeemed them to the same in game character.

Either there are different tiers of items that are related to what is a VB1 (music/dvds?), versus a VB2 (books?), etc. Or just every time you redeem one the count goes up.

This is it. These are different 3 different rewards. (You cannot claim a second "Vanadiel Bounty I" (or II or III) on a character that already "Vanadiel Bounty I" (or II or III). I just verified this on an NA account. So if you find a way to disprove what I experience, then please share more details about your account (EU/JP?) or something that might explain such a discrepancy. :)

FYI, I went to this store, looked around, and asked the staff. They no longer have any stock of priceless remembrance.

Although this has nothing to do with the redeemable code, PSA that the Square Enix Music Channel has recently been posting the HD videos from the Priceless Remembrance Blu-ray. They've added 9 of the 12 videos over the past month or so, all in order from the disc, so it seems likely they will finish it off and include them all (last 3 are Treasures of Aht Urghan, Wings of the Goddess, and Seekers of Adoulin). And while the Square Enix Garden store in Shibuya might be out of copies based on maletaru's report, it's still fairly easy to find new sealed copies (with the redeemable code) of the Priceless Remembrance Blu-ray for a reasonable price. Several right now on Ebay new/unopened for less than $50 USD shipped.

BTW, Square Enix Garden Shibuya store was really disappointing to me. If you want SE merch in Tokyo, better off looking at places like Kotobukiya in Akihabara (lots of XIV stuff, lots of FF stuff in general, not much XI merch but occasionally they'll have something). I did find the FFXI playing card deck at Animate in Shibuya back in December though! (but as that's still relatively current and is even currently in stock from the NA Square Enix online store, maybe not the most amazing find - but fun to find it in the wild, and paying in yen was cheaper than ordering online)

Hmmm.....Did one rainbow mog pell come from the Puzzle and one from the Priceless Rememberance Bluray?

Could you share your Options List > Reward Code History screenshot with us? You must have a reward other than Vanadiel Bounty I/II (that rewards Rainbow Mog Pell)?

I'll work on it later, but I can tell you with 100% certainty that I never got the puzzle. I did buy the Priceless Remembrance, but I also had a rainbow pel before using that code. Just saying it IS possible to have more than 9ne.

It isn't possible to get from this because I tried and my main character didn't even appear as an option because he got one already.

Again, this is odd to me because I literally had one previously and got a second through code from this. It was several years ago, so maybe something changed, but it IS possible because I did it.
