Mog Bonanza
If you're comparing efficiency in something, thats probably not the right time to be hyperbolic.
Wow, I had no idea that so many people hated Nyzul Isle. I still really enjoy helping people with it to this day. I suppose I understand hating it if you play solo.
The only "bad" part of nyzul is just an order lamp floor where they're on opposite ends of a needlessly large floor, otherwise it's pretty chill
You forgot the part about losing 15k tokens and wasting 30 minutes because an order lamp floor popped up when you still had 5 minutes in the area.
Nyzul would get bumped from E- content to B+ if tokens were awarded on portup instead of on exit, or give you the ability to exit the area without completing the floor. Limiting order lamps to 3 (or atleast capping it to party size) would raise it to A-, getting rid of order lamps entirely would raise it to A+. But most of my ire is knowing you have to abandon 15% of the allotted event time, as the reward gets greater, because bad luck can cause you to lose it all. If you could spend tokens to remove certain objectives/maps from the pool, it'd probably be a worth while investment (particularly solo) remove the order/same time and large map (1k tokens each?) would be a net positive.

I think that plan kinda negates the fun risk factor involved with pushing hard for max points, similar to oddyC runs where you've got 2 minutes left and questioning whether you should kill that pack of penguins. (Don't do it!). Personally I'd prefer a system wherein upon entry each member is subject to a 60-second basic IQ and following instructions test and those that fail get booted from the party automatically to keep them from blowing lamp order floors because they think they're playing W.O.W. If you could just refresh tags at the Shiva.Thorny said: » if it didn't take so long to exit the instance, Set to HP#2 and warp back. The players that would claim nyzul skip over cat's eye only do it because gil is meaningless to them so they can just buy their way thru alexandrite part. If they had to farm the alexandrite manually they'd all take the cat's eye over nyzul skip hands down. I'd 1000 times rather see someone win the mog bonanza who values the cat's eye over someone who goes for Wyrmseeker of Areuhat. Personally, I like using BST/DNC the most, with my alt on COR or BRD on lamp duty (also tossing out a movement speed+ buff at start of applicable floors). Dualbox it when I just feel like jumping in and getting some points, but ideally bringing another 1-2 real players. BST things: - Chapuli pet can AoE 1-shot almost anything in Nyzul including bosses. Ideally, on something like a kill all floor just aggro and round up a bunch at once and a Tegmina Buffet will take care of them all. - You don't need to engage any mobs so that saves time (similar to casters or Quick Draw) - No weird exceptions like Puks being healed by Subduction (or BLU in general needing multiple casts on a lot of mobs that BST can 1-shot) - BST has the neat little perk that if you do have movement speed buffs on, you don't lose it if the pet does the damage for you - so as long as you don't get aggroed and attacked, you can keep 60% movement speed up a good bit of the time. - I even sometimes like to use Stay on my pet on Order lamp floors to make it stand at a lamp as a placeholder to remind me which lamp is which when I'm running around and responsible for both. I don't mind the 10% token reduction from adding a 4th party member, since the extra person generally should make up the difference with faster progress. If adding a 4th member means you can clear ~3 more floors than you would with a party of 3, that's generally enough to offset the 10% token loss. Should be able to manage that with quicker clears of large kill all floors, much easier and faster order lamp management, spreading out to take out family/specified mobs... You're not doing 45 floors on average come the *** on man the math aint mathing. I'm not saying its impossible to hit, but that will take a lot of "specified enemy", "code lamp", 2 "specified enemies" next to each other and no "avoid gears", "5 order lamp", that one big map thats like 30 rooms large. ^^^ Yeah this for sure. Absolutely nobody playing anywhere close to legit is pulling in 20k+ tokens a trio run on a regular basis. Either some big time exaggeration, or some big time cheating (you clipping through the entire zone, bro?) I think my highest ever was 18k. I've made.. 6 mythics. And enough nyzul tokens to make 4 more.

I get it, but if y'all are turning pitchforks on Byrth, you need to go look in the *** mirror. Re-examine your life and your priorities. Maybe start back up those therapy sessions on BetterHelp? For the first decade of this game's existence, BYRTH was (and perhaps still is) basically "FFXI Jesus". I know you probably forgot because you haven't been subbed in like 5 years, but take the survival guide to Ro'Maeve, zone into Hall of the Gods and you can see his statue right there: So, Dingus...please lower your voice when speaking to him.
