CDC Question

Currently level 90 on BLU. I unlocked CDC years ago, for some reason its not showing on my ws list. Capped and sword skill from RDM and PLD as well as 8/8 meeits. Anyone know what's up?

When you say you unlocked it, do you mean you had the weapon or did you actually do the quest to unlock it fully?

There is a big difference.

Did the quest to unlock it, I can use it on RDM with the ambu sword.

Doesn't the unlock empy thing with Kupofried assume you complete the level 99 TotM weapon? Being a level 99 it's assumed your character is level 99 too, so probably that's a "requirement" to be able to use the unlocked WS with any weapon? Whereas with the empy weapon itself you can use it from level 85 already.

I dunno, just throwing out ideas.

Oh ok, that sort of makes sense then. At least as much sense FFXI can make at times.

I think the quest was adjusted so it might function differently depending on when you completed it. IIRC you needed the weapon at one point, but they changed it to accept currency instead of trial completion.


I didn't see it mentioned, but maybe check the ??? in WoE again this time as BLU. It might be as simple as that, but you might have to complete the updated quest if you haven't.

Update: as soon as I hit 99 it unlocked for me
