Fixing the MW 3-8 Cashgrab
I don't know. . . the last time SE gave into the whiners, they borked Shinryu. . . even more.

Is that fact that SE sucks balls at addressing player grievances supposed to excuse their shitty business practices? A couple of super interesting threads about this new era of ffxi.I know my standpoint and it differns from others. There is alot of ppl with insight info that the rest of us are missing. ive quickly calculated that ive spent about 3000€ over the years (about 60 times more then on any other game) Now is it me who has grown accostomed to get a version update with new content every now and then(used to pay my fee and be pretty happy with not much of anything other then having access to play game for my 15-16€ a month for meny years)
or is it Se that growned accostomed to us happily dishing out the dought. Or is it simple math, ffxi cost aton more to run then any other game out there? I have not cryed and moaned excessivly over missing new inventory(becouse i love the new macro set slots) althu do i still have the right to ask for some extra inventory or anyhting at all just for beeing a loyal costumer? (maybe not but does it hurt to ask? should anyone be offended?) I will however cry and moan when SE releases aby 2.0 but charge us 4€ for accessability to eatch of the 6 reused zones and alot of ppl will hate on me so much ;) (pay or dont, its optional after all) Homsar said: » Fenrir.Velner said: » I don't know. . . the last time SE gave into the whiners, they borked Shinryu. . . even more. They "suck balls" at addressing player grievances. In, fact, they are openly fleecing you! You buy the product at maximum price anyway. Lol. Fenrir.Velner said: » You buy the product at maximum price anyway. That's not true, since I don't pay for their inventory cash-grab. Other than that, what's the point of your post? I enjoy FFXI and am willing to pay to play it, that doesn't mean that SE doesn't engage in shitty business practices and it certainly doesn't make them good at addressing grievances. Oh, so you're not even affected. How are you getting fleeced?? You've solved the problem! Amazon is raising their prices for prime like 4 bucks a month. That ain't coming with no wardrobe!
Fenrir.Velner said: » Oh, so you're not even affected. How are you getting fleeced?? I am affected. My overall enjoyment is reduced because I can't effectively play more jobs or further customize my existing jobs due to inventory constraints. I am not getting as much out of my sub fee as I should because SE has artificially limited inventory space behind a paywall. It's weird to see someone deride people for calling out a multibillion dollar corporations shitty business practices, you alright? Protip, get the metropcs $60 phone plan and get free amazon prime.
Pay less for your phone and get free amazon But you're not affected. You are getting the exact same service for the exact same price you were getting last month.
Fenrir.Velner said: » But you're not affected. You are getting the exact same service for the exact same price you were getting last month. By that rationale, the sub fee should only pay for whatever was available during the first NA release. Of course, nobody would make that assertion because it would be, you know, incredibly stupid to act as though your sub fee doesn't pay for improvements to the game. SE has always locked some aspects of the game behind paywalls. . . including inventory expansion, by the way. Oh and Netflix also rose their price recently. SE the only one getting ***on for their wardrobes I guess lol.
Draylo said: » Oh and Netflix also rose their price recently. SE the only one getting ***on for their wardrobes I guess lol. Are we pretending that there aren't a lot of people upset about Prime and Netflix costs going up? It amazes me how many people laugh and gallivant about when multibillion dollar corporations needlessly raise their prices. This thread went another 5 pages without some retard calling me a sockpuppet. I'm disappointed.

My overall enjoyment is reduced because I can't effectively play more jobs or further customize my existing jobs due to inventory constraints. Good. quit the game then. The only thing affecting you is your inability to pay for something you feel entitled to. Draylo said: » Oh and Netflix also rose their price recently. SE the only one getting ***on for their wardrobes I guess lol. Literally everything is raising in price because a bunch of morons voted* a child-sniffing alzheimer's patient who has zero knowledge about how to properly manage an economy to run this country yet people are mad that they have to pay extra money for an optional QoL upgrade in an online video game. *** pathetic. Bahamut.Inspectorgadget said: » pay for something you feel entitled to. I feel entitled to inventory space because I already pay a fee to play a game designed around utilizing large amounts of inventory space. Draylo said: » Oh and Netflix also rose their price recently. SE the only one getting ***on for their wardrobes I guess lol. Damn i canned both them and hbo for jacking up the price. Suppose i have to cansel ffxi aswell. Will resub when they make the ffxi season pass, every future content for a one time 20€ as mostgames in ps store or make a new account for life time anual fee of 45€ as hbo did Bahamut.Inspectorgadget said: » I can't imagine denigrating someone because they feel like the fee they pay to play a game should include basic game features, but I guess all the chemicals present in leather make people think weird things. Bahamut.Inspectorgadget said: » Well I do, you cheapskate piece of ***. Does the multibillion dollar corporation charging people(who already pay them) extra to access basic game features not count as being a cheapskate? Homsar said: » Bahamut.Inspectorgadget said: » Well I do, you cheapskate piece of ***. Does the multibillion dollar corporation charging people(who already pay them) extra to access basic game features not count as being a cheapskate? The new wardrobes are the opposite of a "basic game feature". I don't know why you feel the need to assume that, yet feel that you're entitled to it. Bahamut.Inspectorgadget said: » The new wardrobes are the opposite of a "basic game feature". I don't know why you feel the need to assume that Only through excessive consumption of leather could one conclude that inventory space in a game designed around utilizing large amounts of inventory space is not a basic feature. The majority of players can play just fine without even needing to purchase wardrobes 3 and 4. It all comes down to you feeling you're entitled to optional QoL upgrades that you are too cheap to pay for. Stop being poor. I don't know why you feel the need to assume that Only through excessive consumption of leather could one conclude that inventory space in a game designed around utilizing large amounts of inventory space is not a basic feature. I believe SE defines which features are basic and which are premium. . . and given that they have labeled Wardrobes 3-8 as premium, they are definitively not a basic feature. The 720 other available inventory slots are, however, a basic feature. Bahamut.Inspectorgadget said: » that you are too cheap to pay for. I already pay for the game. SE charging more for inventory space is just nickel-and-diming. I am, admittedly, too cheap to pay for features that would be part of the game if SE didn't have a loyal army of bootlickers happy to shell out cash for basic features. Fenrir.Velner said: » I believe SE defines which features are basic and which are premium What a useless thing to say. There's no difference between basic and premium beyond SE thinking "I want extra cash for that ***just because.". Homsar said: » Bahamut.Inspectorgadget said: » that you are too cheap to pay for. I am, admittedly, too cheap to pay for features but not cheap enough to spend 70 and 90 million gil for fishing rings that sell for 500k on every other server. ![]() lol. |
