Anyone knows where? ![]() If you use your crafting shield and drop it. The cooldown to reuse it is still in effect... That is all.. also, you can get shield back if you drop incase none of you poocy's were willing to test it. Lakshmi.Lordgrandegordo said: » ![]() If you use your crafting shield and drop it. Just don't disconnect or forget about throwing it away and zone. I tried with the Mars Orb and it supports this. Dropped the orb while in the BC, then picked it back up after outside of the BC. Tried using the same Mars Orb again, and it had a crack in it still. dropped the escutcheon?! friggin balls bigger than the moon
Guardian Crawler doesn't spawn 100% of the time anymore when you trade a Rolanberry. My plans to farm Royal Jelly have been thwarted.
kill beeeees forever (they drop it too, right?)
I'm guessing you want to make chocolixirs? I wish I still had some I'd give them all to ya My chocobo needs his chocoamphetamines
People have been talking all day in yell, makes me sad they can't stop the xp yell spam seeing how good it can be without it.

what if the rp is a visual bug and it has R0 stats and now you can only get 5 ranks of it?
They'd never notice the difference anyway
Updates have been pushed for hook, luacore, timers and various addons. Somethings like the ffxidb mini map won't be fixed till tomorrow.
A full restart on all accounts is needed since there is a hook update. An interesting "issue" I found:
Doing the valentines day event with an alt. Idc about the alts progress, so I tossed all of their hearts. The moogle still sees them in my inventory even though they are in the recycle bin, so I couldnt restart the event until I zoned. This is only anecdotal but we just had a segment run where hate was really wonky.
I pulled hate off of a pld with a single Cure V and had 8 mobs solidly on me until dead. There were at least 2 other instances in the run where someone had massive hate spikes and the pld couldn't get hate back, even with no actions being taking by the person with hate. (double post, ignore)
Shiva.Thorny said: » It now takes 26 seconds to fully populate inventory, with 656 items. That is greater than the 25 seconds it took to populate 753 items in 2020. This isn't due to the wardrobes, so dug a little deeper. Instead of sending 0x1D once at the end, to enable all containers, they send it 17x in every packet interval(once for each bag), and they've increased the size from 8 bytes to 12. This takes up space that could be used to send inventory items themselves, so the items actually take longer. The result, to the player, is that you can view individual bags as they finish loading, which should make inventory and early wardrobes faster to manually access. For plugins and addons, which only care about whether the game has received the data, this universally makes things slower for everyone(and even more so for those who also add more wardrobes and items), though not by very much. Note that adding more wardrobes won't slow your load times, it's the number of total items you have. If you add the wardrobes and move gear to them, you should expect load times to stay the same (aside from the increase this patch added). It's when you start increasing items that load times will increase. Also, called it on recycle being a bag. Returning items uses the move packet as well, just like I had guessed. Augmented items can be returned. It seems unlikely there's any sort of exploiting to be had, given it's effectively just an inventory container. Unfortunately, it is not under the switch menu and you cannot manually move items into it, so you can't use it to drop items from non-inventory bags any faster. Edit: Was looking at theoretical numbers not actual numbers from old post, it is still slower but not by anywhere near the scale. SE should just increase the cap on received already NOBODY is using dialup in 2022. Bahamut.Kwech said: » YouTube Video Placeholder See he did that wrong, he took it back out of the recycle bag. ( zone , logg out , DC = Empty the cyclebin ) For zone ( ex AMAN Trove , before entering if you put your Sash in bin .... ) , haven't tested it to be honest ( if entrance bcnm > to Bcnm is Zoning, someone could confirm this ? ) Draylo said: »

I've started using this recycle bin as a feature when crafting and stuff, which is a very bad idea and I'll regret it one day I'm sure.

I would guess, the reason they don't do this is because it's very likely they originally used the data cap as a core to build other features on. Just as they used the fps cap with animations. YouTube Video Placeholder They could end up breaking all manner of things if they changed it, at least I'm guessing this is what is going on since there is no reason they would not of done it if they could. ( zone , logg out , DC = Empty the cyclebin ) For zone ( ex AMAN Trove , before entering if you put your Sash in bin .... ) , haven't tested it to be honest ( if entrance bcnm > to Bcnm is Zoning, someone could confirm this ? ) I was just playing with this, because i was hoping i could double up on rare abyssea pop items (Jaculus wings, tablilla mercury....ect) I originally had a bunch of Jaculus wings sitting in Dbox, and that let me grab a wing, drop it, then grab another wing, so i could stack the wings in recycle bin (this got me excited that it might work outside town) If you have an item like a jaculus wing already in your recycle bin, you get the "you can only hold one items of this type" message when attempting to lot a second wing that's in treasure pool. So, grabbing items from dbox is not handled the same as lotting when it comes to checking if you have a rare item in your possession. Seems like anything in the recycle bin is considered to still be in your possession. tldr: they did a decent job fool proofing the recycle bin and it wont help in abyssea (from what i can tell) What about trying to grab one from a box while one is in tbe recycle bin? I noticed that the game lets you buy rare items from NPCs even with them in your recycle bag, and boxes might work the same.
I just tried this in abyssea last night.
The game greys out any rare items you have in your recycle bin that you also have in your inventory, so you cannot move it to your inventory. When you remove the rare item from your inventory, the greyed out rare item in your recycle bin becomes white and you can then move it to your inventory. What I was doing while farming Cireion-Croin was throwing away all of my Orobon Cheekmeats and letting them sit in my recycle bin. Then, after popping Cep-Kamuy, I would move another to my inventory if I needed one to pop another NM. At one point I had 7 cheekmeats in recycle bin, and one in my inventory. As long as I did not have a cheekmeat in my inventory, I could keep farming them and moving them to my recycle bin. So you should be able to pull something to your active inventory from your dbox if it's in your recycle bin, even if it's rare. So for Aman Trove, you could do something similar: throw away your rare items and do the event, and if something good you already have drops, you can get a buyer for it or something. This is very risky, though. I would much rather send every rare item to myself via dbox instead, and accomplish the same goal, without risking disconnecting and losing my ashera or whatever. I see the error of my ways! It works if you are solo because the rare item skips the treasure pool and drops direct to inventory. I had my alt with me when i was testing and had to work through the pool. For solo farming abyssea, this is pretty sweet. |
