I wish they would address the 56k data limit cap, it's so annoying how much it limits the game.

I think this was brought up in previous interviews and they've stated they can't. Too much of the game would break if they change this lol :(
They said something along the lines that the limitation isn't with FFXI, but with the game engine that they create and compile FFXI in that has the limitation.
It's kind of like if a modern game has some kind of limitation and they say it's not a limitation of the game they made but a limitation of unreal engine itself. Since the engine for ffxi was made inhouse it can't be that hard to update it just to modify this surely.
