Wouldn’t Gelatinous Ring+1 be one for Torcleaver and good for general tanking?

Epa and Karieyh +1 rings are BiS for Torcleaver. It might be best if you chose a different Adoulin ring, though.

Wouldn't wind affinity be good for silence, def down and other wind based stuffs?

it's only wind(MAB) so won't really affect silence. def down, don't see blu on the list of jobs that can wear. Basically just a boost for wind nukes on blm, rdm, sch, geo.

Its MaB, not the same as affinity

it is the same, thats how affinity on gear is listed as;
___ elemental: mab+. see archon ring, pixie hairpin, weatherspoon, etc

They used to label affinity as Element: Wind Affinity: Magic Damage +6 which would equate to wind(MAB)+35.
They couldn't do odd numbers like pixie hairpin+1's 28% or a ring's 5% since dmg+1 is 10% and changed the wording.

Thoughts on the daggers as offhand for twash or tauret on thf? Tempted to make Anathema for use with my crit set...

Ternion +1 with
[1] DMG +17
[2] Accuracy & Magic Accuracy +40
[3] Weapon Skill Damage +5%

Anathema Harpe +1 with
[1] DMG +20
[2] Accuracy & Magic Accuracy +40
[3] Critical Hit Rate +10%

For one, you left out arguably the most important stat:
[4] Delay

Even so, I would say use Shijo offhand for Crit build.

Ya I guess Shijo would still be a contender for that purpose. I muled it ages ago and mostly stick with twash/tauret. Maybe I'll dust if off again and try it out.

I see quite some recommendations for offhand weapons.

Since augments don't work on DynaD weapons offhand, I was just wondering if this has been actually tested for UMN weapons yet.

Su5 weapons specify "main hand:" on their augments. unity doesn't.

ergo, they work (and some of them are incredible offhands).
