lol BG forums are confirmed hivemind. Their moderatortemp banned me because him and others disagreed with my opinion and point of view. Everyone in there was literally chanting ACAB and foaming at the mouth for the next sensationalist police brutality post. I come in and post videos of cops that are doing some good, I post the aftermath of this violence on small businesses that are black owned and I post the tragic death of David Dorn. A different perspective on the outrage of this senseless violence, all the while not downplaying the fact that the cops are also included in said violence.

In response, I get called out by Ladyofhonor saying how I am wrong and nobody cares about David. Then I get a troll who literally mocks David Dorns death. They literally have one guy that follows me to every thread and said "you're a stupid idiot" and yet all of those people don't get temp banned.

The place is a hivemind, even specifically said to me "I get this person is in the wrong and saying provoking harassing things, but you're free to block him and not engage him." So I used his and others exact line against me "you're being a karen just block me" and yet I get suspended.

How lovely that in this day we have an entire website that is against anyone expressing an opinion that the consensus doesn't have. They even had people willing to pay 200 dollars to get me banned from the forum (they probably got the mods bribed privately.) No longer can people engage on forums and discuss viewpoints from different perspectives, we all need to become far left radicals and chant death to police.

I really reached the point I wasn't caring anymore tbh, I'll grant them their wish and won't be back. I can't tolerate a hivemind anyways, it was fun while it lasted. It isn't ***to call out the fact that innocent people are dying. Regardless if you thought his death was over nothing.

The point was to provide evidence of a claim, not farm likes from someone getting shot. Nobody is going to like a post showing people dying.

do you know how simple it would have been to instead say,

"gonna keep posting my opinions over here because they seem more welcomed here than BG. I got banned from that thread, and disagree with the why. So instead I'll be posting here with you lovely people and maybe we can all learn a little something from each other, not just one side."

Or however you so desired, but you didn't have to come in with NAMES to bash from a different website. You coulda complimented the one letting us all spew away :)

I rarely took place in debates on that sites political section, just here and there. I did notice, and its quite known for a while, that anyone with a contrary opinion gets dogpiled on and eventually temp banned. I just don't see why that is acceptable in any forum unless the person is advocating violence or trolling. Just my opinion anyways, and I never had problems with mods on this site except maybe Krizz at one point but he got better later on.

To their credit, a poster who was harassing me decided to call to arms and commit a federal offense online, not gonna say how. The mods swiftly banned him, but otherwise they don't even interact anymore unless it fits the agenda.

Don't make the assumption that the spike in gun sales is from the same people who were buying them before all this (meaning COVID, not just racial tensions).

There has been a very strong movement among those typically AGAINST gun rights now seeing viability in self protection. And the more gun owners we have, the larger base of a gun rights educated populace we have. Ain't nuttin' wrong with that.

I just don't know because I've been left leaning almost my whole life and after this event I just feel the left has failed incredibly in trying to push for an end to violence (police included.) I think a lot of voters are going to take that into account and some of these democrats will need to work harder for that vote and put forth change. I kept quoting OBAMA and how he condemned the violence (which nobody attacked him for) but he had 8 years to change this and he did nothing? What can you expect any democrat to do after a black man couldn't even do anything? They aren't seeing the picture.

The WORST are happening in mostly democrat run cities. De Blasio is a loser who literally did nothing but encourage it and his daughter to partake in the rioting. He claims he didn't want to use the NG because he had cops, the same cops he kept shitting on for a week. They should all quit, give these people what they want and watch the violence skyrocket and have De Blasio handle it himself.
