I'm not overvaluing lol. I asked a question and nobody responded, so I used my ninja set :)

I'll play around with the pieces I have and see which one produces highest. I have a mab+44 feet augment in that set, and I don't feel like dumping 20-m into a necklace I would only use on one job. The cloak is probably the best piece in that set and I would give up Samnuha body for that if I had it

Has anyone ever tested how or if Magic Damage+ interacts with Lunge/Swipe? Does it do anything?

Also, Ive been double and triple checking it on my DPS spreadsheet, but everything I am seeing on end game targets seems to be showing this Dimidiation set as clearly beating whats listed on the guide.

ItemSet 374910

Mostly the same but a few key differences.

I was a bit caught off guard by Ayanmo body beating a herc body with WSD augs, but it clearly seems to win by a fair bit. Unless you get around dex+10, acc, att, and WSD all together.

Then herc comes out ahead a small bit.

But definitely seems to be a low priority upgrade compared to everything else, Ayanmo seems to really carry you quite far until you get a GG Herc body.

Even with Dex+10 on herc head though it seems to marginally lose to path B Lustratio Head.

Also as far as I am seeing, Windbuffet+1 is the clear winner for Dimidiation I think (am I right in that AM3 OA2-3 doesnt proc on WSes for Mythics?), and Fotia Gorget for neck comes out a decent bit ahead of omen neck.

Something seems wrong if you're getting garuda+1 over ilabrat, niqmaddu, or regal.

Mythic AM3 does proc on WSs.

Nah I wouldnt be surprised if those won over ramuh+1, however, the real winner is Epaminondas's, so rather than wasting time focusing on those I am just gonna save up to get Epa's.

Not sure how you have ayanmo beating Adhemar Jacket +1. Also why ramuh ring? Also what is omen neck?

Biggest thing that will effect Dimidiation set will be if attacked is capped or not. Ilabrat, regal ring, Caro Necklace, Kentarch Belt +1 or Grunfeld Rope are great when under attack cape, but Fotia/WSD ring can pull ahead when attack is capped.

Ah sorry Caro Necklace comes from Khon, which my sleepy brain put as one of the Omen bosses, but thats the Gaeas Fete one lol, goddamnit.

Anywho yeah its looking like Fotia neck wins on most targets as far as I can see.

And I have no idea how I missed adhemar body, yeah Path B definitely beats both Ayanmo and a Dex/Wsd/Att/Acc Herc body for sure.

That seems a lot better, I genuingly have no idea how I missed Adhemar body, thanks for catching that.

And why not Ramuh ring? Its the Dex ring, Dimidiation is dex...? Regal Ring, Illebrant, etc all are susbtantially more effort for small gains when the real winner is just Epa's.

I see no reason to put energy into getting an expensive mid tier ring when I can just wait a couple days of saving up and just buy an Epa's, they're down to 50mil now on Asura so pretty cheap tbh.

Ilabrat ring will take you a day at most if you spam Kin. And it's already good for a lot of things anyways, so it's not a waste.

Ilabrat ring has about a 15% drop rate, so even if you have 4 canteens stored up and no one else lotting against you, that's only about a 50% chance of seeing it.

That's not "a day at most".

Its droprate goes to 100% when you can't make the run that day....

Didn't see it listed aside from lunge sets in this guide, but thoughts on augmented Seething Bomblet +1 versus Augelmir Orb +1 for Resolution?

Thanks in advance~

New Unity augments allowed this to be a pretty nice capped PDT tank set without having to keep a Mensch Strap +1 on

Thats quite an interesting option, because you add 70 HP from Utu Grip to your idle/engaged sets, but i think you would need to adapt your pre/midcast/enmity sets for the lost of -PDT due to not having Mensch +1. Thanks for sharing.

Good call, I always had Moonlight in my tank set because it used to be <21%MDT without it by using Tuisto + Genmei. New earring augment changes that too, thanks!

Is +20 X-element resistance the same as saying +20 Magic Evasion to X-element? Because if so, this would be a MEVA downgrade. Turms +1 feet to Empy +1 feet is a 40 MEVA loss, while Carby belt gives 20-30 resistance to elements.

edit: Woops, there's an additional "All Elements +25" on Empy feet I completely didn't see. This would give more MEVA then, good option for idle!

Is there a guide out there for what debuffs are associated with what elements?

Stuff that doesnt have player associated spells seems hard to figure out its element.

IE: What element is amnesia typically?

Amnesia is a fire based debuff. I'd look into this guide: https://www.ffxiah.com/forum/topic/52984/which-runes-to-use-gathering-info/

Or look at the barspell on your spell list/bg wiki. The spell element is also the rune you want to use. IE Baramnesia is water, amnesia is fire. Assuming you haven't modded your icons, bar- spells should all have the pip of their element and that's the same element rune you want for it.

Terror is the really weird one cause well it's terror. And sleeps and such you need to know if it's light/dark based.

Ah perfect, that works well then, thanks!

I dunno how much terror matters but yeah, amnesia was the big one I wanted to know.

Engraved Belt is +20 all ele res(+30 light/dark). You need the PDT on empy feet to make up for the belt swap.

Where does Morgelai fit into the equation. Mostly looking at it for the Vivacious Pulse and amazing Regen (hopefully from a SCH) but can probably fit into some DD or Subtle Blow type situations while DD/Tanking.

Is it value added to add and max this on RUN (Path C) most likely with the for the bonuses over the occasional TP loss? May be great for pre-fight though.

Thoughts?
