New recipes from the December 2019 Version Update. New thread for this so they do not get buried in the main update thread.

  • Please include Crystal type used in the synth.

  • Include any Key Items and Subcrafts needed.

  • If the recipe is in the extensive NPC's list, include the item below and above the new item. This will tell us the cap level.

  • The new item Wyrm Ash is most likely a synth requirement for some or all of these items.

Gerdr Belt/+1

Skrymir Cord/+1

Balder Earring/+1

Aurgelmir Orb/+1

Wyrm ash is 1200 domain points and NOT obtainable via gob box. Those will be some expensive hq items because of that...

Considering there's an 80 points per day cap, that's a 15 day wait for one Wyrm Ash, assuming you don't want anything else for your points.

Can you buy Eschite Ores too etc?
Zi'tah and Ru'aun were a good source of those mats, whereas Reisenjima one was a good source for Reisen stones, but I guess nobody cares for those.

The Ores on the other hand were nice, is this gonna make them more expensive on AH I wonder?

The "no equipment from wyrm" part I can understand, makes sense.
But they should've kept the random mats honestly, it's a pretty *** move to remove those.

Yes and Eschite Ores was one of the possible "direct drops" from Wyrms. Well at least from the Zi'tah one.

Just like the Reisen one dropped Reisen stones, and the Ru'aun dropped, I dunno, another mat.

based on the expected rarity of wyrm ash, I can assume Gerdr Belt +1 & Skrymir Cord +1 will never exist.

Meh people will make alts to get points and get wyrm ash on them instead of using points on mains.

Thats totally terrible.

They added one more "reward" to run an alt through all hassle of doing RoV till reisen.

Just DM campaign would be too weak but this now...

That's a lot of time farming for 1 item used in mediocre items recipe.

Some of those recipes are new best in slot items. If not all of them for some of the jobs that can use. People spend 500 to 700 mil on su5 when they first came out. So you can imagine what people will spend to have some of the first new best in slot items.

Have you seen hq of that recipes?

MAB belt is bis for all magic WSs outside of Orpheus's Sash range and afaik bis belt for helixes?

Ammo is bis for TP for many jobs and bis for some many WSs not based on stacking WSD or for jobs without access to Knobkierke.

Earring is generally very marginally better or as good as brutal, but also works better with mythic AM3 and evasion is interesting (highest evasion on ear slot outside of Eabani).

Belt is trash, earring is sidegrade at best (on run sheet is actually worse than brutal and dedition).

Ammo i would buy for a reasonable price, this for adding double digits dps.

How much will crafters pay for the ash knowing how long it takes to get one? what about hq rates? nobody is going to pay 500mil for these +1's.

After 2months or so after people get their 1k rewards there will be nobody spaming daily dragons.
