What Does The Tesla Truck Design Say About America

at $40k~70k, and with a fuel cost and maintenance likely totaling 20~30% what you'd pay if you owned any other truck; that's a truck for anyone who won't go over its range in a work day as it'd probably take 2 hours to recharge at a supercharger station.
Also, only those who's use for a truck isn't impeded by the form factor.
If you have enough money in the bank to front-end your gas costs of your truck, will be ready to trade out the old bruiser in 3~5 years from now, and actually willing to be seen driving that PS1 graphics vehicle. It's the Truck for you.

The bullet proof windows bit ... they really laid on the dystopia bit quite hard in their release. The fact that someone shot a bullet into their own Tesla battery pack before, causing the whole thing to turn into a pyre might have something to do with the new truck being bullet proof.

Also it is quite possibly the ugliest truck I've ever seen.

I'm pretty sure it was designed by a 5 year old.

I think saying that it's bulletproof speaks more to saying that rocks, shopping carts, etc... won't have a prayer at denting the panels.

I'll have to go back and watch the demo, but I thought they said the body panels were bulletproof, and they called the windows armor plated or something similar. I think they're supposed to be strong, but not bulletproof. But I'd have to watch it again.

Personally, I want the windows to be breakable. The last thing I want is to be trapped inside a vehicle.

There has been an uptick in violence in America these past few years, but we are still way below the levels of the late 80s through mid 90s.

Its designed to be aerodynamic. People who buy trucks don't care about low MPG, but people who design electric vehicles do care about range.

Okay, off topic a bit...but I was in London last year around this time, and the one thing I miss is all the Christmas Markets that pop-up, especially the mulled wine stalls. I remember a really good one around Southbank, walking from the London Eye over to the Tate Modern.

All cars are ugly, this one just is more ugly, Even more ugly then a Dacia Duster.
