I always thought it would be cool if they had a server they moved all the cheaters to instead of banning them. Disable world transferring off of that server, and monitor it for suspicious activity. A honeypot of sorts.

It would have been cooler if they introduced some kind of old school Halo "anti cheating/botting" countermeasures. They introduced Goblin Bounty Hunters way back that would catch fishing bots/mules, but they could have taken it a step further to send a message. Goblin Bounty Hunter follows you around the entire game. Every time you make a million gil, he kills you. Every time you enter a main town, he kills you. Every time you open a bazaar, he kills you. Every time you try to sell in your bazaar, he kills you (and takes the items from your bazaar). That way everyone could get a good laugh at who the cheaters are. I mean, the personal attack aside, why do you continue to sit here and defend your self. Can you really tell everyone with a straight face that you never profited from this? I mean the reality is we can sit here beating a dead horse for ages. Whatever your reasons, you were apart of it. So all "I" ask is that you kindly step aside and stop gloating over the aftermath. The game was never fair, and I've never been so naïve. What happened is akin to insider trading. You've all been or will be found out. So seriously, what is the point in continuing the merry-go-round?

There are certain grammar/spelling/pronunciation faux pas that always seem to catch my ear/eyes (ask anyone that's ever been in a shell with me- FFXI pronunciation drives me batshit....I'm looking at you KingKitt and your constant Rayk-EEE)

I don't think they'll ban honestly. I mean if they cared about the economy don't you think they would've lowered the Shield NPC value? I get the quantity isn't as much. Hell, they even made it easier to spend your accolades to get gil by allowing you to stack to 99.
