Solid. If you have TH4 in Herculean gear, do you need to sub thief at all? Not sure what's up with the /thf craze for this? Does only +2 work with gear and you need the two base traits or are the people advocating thief sub just without TH gear?

Asking, not trolling

Nah, you're probably right, if you have +4 in TH can skip the /thf, which I guess isn't all that hard these days - Chaac, this month's hat +1, and 2 other pieces from spamming DM augments

As long as you or someone have TH4 in gear then subbing thf isn't necessary.
Sub thf is fine if you want if missing 1-2 more TH in gear

Also 5 minutes of no TP moves despite using all sorts of spells like Meteor and Impact with only a RUN/DRK spamming Absorb-TP and SCH on it
It even did Kaustra in there, which from what we know of Odin and last month's Ambuscade would give 1000+ TP instantly.
The Impacts and Kaustra did 0 damage, so she wouldn't gain TP from them.

Meant to say I was checking it didn't cap at 2 for gear and required a sub to hit 4. Thanks for the confirmation.

Have you tried Shijin Spiral to keep her TP in check? I remember reading about someone saying it's actually -50 TP/tick rather than -5 TP as mentioned on BGwiki. The 5 TP number being a remnant of the old 100-300 TP scale that was never corrected.

SAM no Masa is my go to. Using Doji for reduced white damage so no Thorn BS. I also only use haste 2, to reduce the FU moments.

It’s as safe as MONK but faster.

I’m thinking of trying this on Normal as my method of trying to kill spitewarden has not been successful. Are you soloing or is this group fights?

I almost posted something about reduced rates the other day but figured I was just frustrated and on an unlucky streak (still highly likely). But I haven't seen a drop on E in about 2 weeks and only have 1 piece of the armor.

Anyone experiencing reduced drop rates on E? I believe I had all but 1 drop in 50 fights SCH/THF. And then got my final drop in 70 more fights.

In helping some buddies who had zero drops, I've went as far as 0/21 for them for any drop. This was after that most recent update 3-4 nights ago

I got 8 drops in around 200 runs. Half with th4 and half with th8+. All on E. Still havent seen boots.

SAM on N solo is probably something that you can call a challenge and I doubt anyone attenpt it as farming method.

Have gotten 5 drops on VE as thief main, probably 130~ runs over past couple of weeks. Just started doing E for my last two pieces and I've seen nothing yet in about a dozen runs, but that doesn't really mean much yet

I did dozens of E runs with a friend with TH8+ and saw jack ***. When my 1 hours were on cool down I did VE and got the last of my pieces there. Not even sure it’s worth soloing/duoing anything higher than VE with the hit or miss drop rates.

I really don't think worth going to Easy. I've got 15 drops total doing VE for myself and friends in right around 100 runs. I've now sadly gone 50 runs hunting for my last piece (Body) but VE really is quite a good drop rate. In the 15 or so runs I've done on Easy I haven't gotten a single drop.

Edit: I'm using THF and getting TH10-TH12 each run.

People who are reporting they aren't seeing any drops on VE/E after tons of runs: remember that if everyone in your group already possesses a certain drop it cannot drop again, but the loot pool will still roll for it. So if everyone has Malignance Pole and the game actually drops another pole, it will show as if nothing had dropped.

Now if you have everything but a single drop, you're probably getting several hidden drops over time except the one thing you still need.

Yep all true... exactly why I'm fearing just how long this final drop will take me. It just had to be the one that I wanted the most didn't it? :)

Man, square really hit the stupidity jackpot getting people to do this bc in excess of 200 times.

Absolutely insane that you're willing to wait in 20+ minute queues and rack up 4+ hours per drop waiting in line. I find that fascinating. I get the adrenaline rush and the dopamine from stuff like omen bodies and why you go a thousand times... but waiting in line, I'd rather staple my ballsack to the floor.

Most psople do other stuff while waiting; it's not line waiting in a line in real life.

Waiting for the BC when you're soloing really isn't that big a deal. It's not like youtube and other forms of entertainment don't exist to occupy the time. You could just as easily go and make a sandwitch or do some housework. Unlike real life, there's no penalty for walking away from the line while you wait your turn.

My house was never cleaner than during king camping.

These lines are long but the 10-20 minutes can be very productive elsewhere.

The fight only takes a couple minutes to kill but they still give you the full 30 minute timer, and the average wait times are usually 10-15 minutes. You could queue up and go watch a full episode of your favorite anime and still have enough time to finish the fight when you came back. Waiting in line is the LEAST of a soloers concerns when it comes to this fight.

Yeah but I mean like, that's time designated to "playing"

Your whole 4-8 hour "play session" is limited to standing in line and doing 7 fights.

Whether you accomplish other things in the line, is irrelevant.
