anyone figure out what to grow to get Pom-Pom Fruits?
I managed to buy one on the AH about 30min ago along with the rest of the mats. No idea if the synth is real as no GS friends on this late.
Kupo Keyholder is not a real synth. if the item were listed on BG-wiki then it'd be real. i want to see what it actually outputs if i attempt to synth it.
Raminel, the elvaan courier child, is 'sprinting' around with Cactrot Rapido's dust cloud and using homepoints to warp. I'm a bit disappointed the kid isn't faster but hey.
I found cherry blossom at Horlais Peak hot spring and Blueblade Fell.

You can take multiple people in a Phobos Orb fight and they all get the Shami's key at the end, from a single orb.
Is there any difference in which of Shami's chest you open? Eastern Adoulin statue of Goddess has cherry blossoms now too, nice. Good time to get some nice screenshots
The Dyna-Xarcabard song is f**king lit. I'll farm Xarcabard twice a week with jams like these.
First time I opened the gold Shami chest, I got a pluton coffer, so I guess those are in there too. Implies alexandrite pouches could be too?
It's tempting to go hammer on that until I run out of crests, it's probably the most efficient exemplar point grind ever added (and honestly feels like it's on par with other methods when you factor in the time to grind for more seals after exhausting login points.) Sad that it's going to only be a one-day thing. After so many years, finallySE decided to take down those prices?
Good. They should be 20k anyways. No reason one shard is 5k and another is 2m. Get your mule army ready to crash that price.

For this case in particular, I feel that SE should have implanted a n exchange 3:1. Not having this just makes them pretty stinky Lakshmi.Buukki said: » Good. They should be 20k anyways. Ten thousand medals. 100 stacks, 80m. 8 billion gil. Worth. (they'll lose 50% instantly) Still, 4 billion. it's literally like a 5 hour process and misery menuing Asura.Eiryl said: » it's literally like a 5 hour process and misery menuing Assuming the prices don't crash even further, it's still a roi of about 250$/hr. If you don't get an aneurysm in the meantime. Lakshmi.Buukki said: » Good. They should be 20k anyways. No reason one shard is 5k and another is 2m. Get your mule army ready to crash that price. One shard is for a piece of armor that is useless today and was useless 6 years ago, and one shard is for a piece of armor on a key job that is still BIS 6 years later, that would explain the price disparity. I did think we'd kinda arrived at a good equilibrium in relic armor upgrade demand, where wave 1 of dynamis was pretty easy to farm for shards while Trove favors voids due to loud thuds.
Actually, if you can code, you can get a free ~3k medals (per account). Every time you start a character you get 500 login points.
Start, medal, trade, delete, repeat nonstop for the entire 21 days. They really do never think about anything when they do it. Carbuncle.Nynja said: » Lakshmi.Buukki said: » Good. I understand completely why the price disparity exists, that doesn't mean SE didn't implement it in the absolute worst way possible or that it's a good idea. How many times have they "fixed" dynamis and those terrible shard drops? It used to be non-sellable, then sellable, then campaign gives you it for free, then they threw them indiscriminately into AMAN trove, now they're giving out medals blindly, which will surely crash the price of every shard for good. Plus the drop rate is too damn low to begin with. Also, this demand:price "problem" only really applies to Relic Armor upgrades; it's completely manufactured problem from SE. The Artifact Armor all costs exactly the same across every single piece of gear for every job (varying slightly with material cost, but generally the same), whether worthless or BIS. The exact same pricing equality exists for Empyrean Armor, it's actually free for every single piece, whether one piece is absolutely trash or absolutely broken. For whatever reason, Relic armor was implemented in the silliest way conceivable, and they've been trying to "fix" it ever since. Just dumb design. So, SE gave us Omen cards last month and Beastmen Medals this month. They're clearly lowering the barrier for obtaining Reforged AF (+2, +3).
The only logical conclusion I can draw from this...is that SE is going to announce another Seekers of Adoulin-sized expansion. ![]() Felgarr said: » So, SE gave us Omen cards last month and Beastmen Medals this month. They're clearly lowering the barrier for obtaining Reforged AF (+2, +3). Uhhh... no for job cards. 750 login points for one job card is one of those insane exchange rates that they have in multiple content, like Lustreless Items costing 500/750/1000 segments each at the Moogle. I really have no idea who is thinking of these things. 300 points for Beastmen's Medal, on the other hand is a great deal, though it is one that will definitely have some (probably minor) impact on the game's economy. I think the impact will be more than minor. You can rollover 1500 points every login campaign, so 5 medals instantly at the start of the campaign per player. I don't even know how many more points you earn for the rest of the month, but it's probably like another 1500. There's nothing useful to spend login points on anyways. Each player given 10 free medals with nothing to do with besides flood the AH? The price should easily tank instantly like patentia sash did immediately.
I think you can gain around 2500ish points each month, and bring over 1500 from the previous month.
At face value there is no real issue with SE doing this, however when you take the current game communities need/desire to exploit everything this seems like an awful move.
Is zero chance this isn't going to be massively botted. Beastmen Medals will be flooded for a month, but once that supply runs dry in May, the price will steadily go back to normal. It's the same for every other currency when Ambuscade is easily spammed versus months where it isn't.
My money is on emaint within a couple days, like they did when people were remaking mules for plaudits. If they don't ban, it's still going to result in an enormous amount of medals since the bar for entry is basically nothing.
There aren't enough people capable to really abusing it.
The few that can, can completely ravage it, it's not enough to trigger a "we *** up" moment. It should. It's a huge *** up. But doesn't rise to the level of we're supposed to care enough to bother fixing it. Just as a cherry on top, the handful of people able to write this bot, and skip the cutscenes and do it at scale with 50 accounts, will make 50 medals every 5 minutes.
Will have added literally 10 million medals to the game. Before a maint can hit. Won't be banned. Will not be rolled back. And the emaint will be meaningless. Band-aid on an amputation. |
