If you have a problem with that, you have to realize that it's not a Trump issue. New president comes in, old deputy attorney general goes out. It's clockwork.

If you have a problem with that, you have to realize that it's not a Trump issue. New president comes in, old deputy attorney general goes out. It's clockwork.
All senior officials are replaced whenever a new party comes in power, it's part of the process. The population is just too ignorant to know better and the Dems are capitalizing on that ignorance. Even Rua who's normally a very well read and studied individual got bullshited into thinking this wasn't normal. Typically the outgoing folks stay on just long enough for their replacements to be found and then they resign immediately before their replacement is nominated. Only thing different now is their "taking a stand" and refusing to resign, so their having to be manually fired.
Same thing happens after corporate mergers or buyouts, senior management types resign as new ones are picked.

Then why didn't the appoint a new AG when Trump became president? They requested that she serves under the AG.
