Monster Hunter
I think you may be doing some if the caravan 6 quests that count as high rank. I know there are a few of them.

It may actually be easier to start on Caravan 7 things and begin some lower tier High Rank hunts to get some new armor sets. YouTube Video Placeholder

On PS4 - Yes On 3DS - No June DLC is Friday :(
So like, out of curiosity,
Do might pills, demon drugs, and power charms stack? Or do they count as the same buff? I was experimenting with them today and i kind of like the attack buffs they give :< They do.
A nice reference chart that's been reposted on r/monsterhunter a few times: Shiva.Zykei said: » They do. A nice reference chart that's been reposted on r/monsterhunter a few times: I wonder what the logic behind making the seed last longer than the pill is :< I might make some demon flutes and use them now too :< Is 25 the cap? If I have attack XL on my armor does that mean I should get defensive food instead?
I would test it but I just got to work :( Grumpy Cat said: » Is 25 the cap? If I have attack XL on my armor does that mean I should get defensive food instead? I would test it but I just got to work :( There is no attack or defense cap. There aren't many situations where you'll have either stat above average though. For example, you can buff stack and get your defense as high as 2k, but that's absurd and impractical. The average G rank overall defense is around 700~

Funny, the Warrior of Light armor is also available in that :< Do wants.
I am a little confused now about knockout damage.
I was under the impression that each of my attacks did a certain amount of KO damage towards the threshold in the monsters head. Now the way I took that was say a monster has a 300 resist, and my attacks do 50 each then after 6 attacks the monster would see stars. I was under the impression that this value was not tied to the stats on the weapon. That a skilled player with a level 1 hammer could dizzy a monster with the same number of hits as a level 9 weapon. However I was finally able to upgrade my HH and noticed I am staggering monsters much more frequently. Now this COULD be that I am just getting better at hitting the head more often. I am more inclined to think though that my weapons base damage is more of a factor than I thought. Anyone able to clarify this? Weapon damage is not a factor at all. The only factors are the motion values and skills that boost KO damage potency (Felyne Slugger and Knockout King.)
KO damage does however decay quite rapidly over time if you're not consistently applying it. So I actually am getting better at hitting the head then! :D
Just went from rank HR 7 to 74 after beating dalmadur....now im confused...
After you do that urgent your HR unlocks. Instead of just hitting HR 8, it applies all your previously obtained HR (which is hidden up until this point.)
First Apex kill down!
Haven't been keeping up with monster hunter news lately since it's all handheld stuffs. Are there any plans for another console monster hunter? MH3U on Wii U was really cool, I mean they all look good but I just cant play them on handhelds.
I am going to stop being lazy and edit the first post thing.
Some stuff I will put in there is a link to Kiranico, the MH4U wiki, Athena's Armor assembler thingy, maybe some recaps of the previous updates? Anything else vets think would be useful, or anything newer hunters would like to see? Awesome. A MH4U forum! I'm G rank and play regularly if anyone needs help with a monster or want to go farming.
