This website is an amazing chronicle of time.

In the end I would hope that nobody truly hates anyone, and instead they focus on the fact that out of the 7billion+ people on the planet, they had a common interest here.


I have many supporters and many detractors.
I however in some small way feel bonded to them much more than most of the people on the planet.

I hope that some of us, perhaps the most bitter . . .
Will one day look at this place at the marvelous record into the past that it is.


I hope you find what you are looking for. I hope that anyone else who feels like the OP has the strength to move on and quit this game. If I felt that way I hope I would.

To those that don't, game on, maybe this site will be here for probably another 10 years. I hope to see you in game one day, and not the forum.

I'm in a shell that's accepting cross server people and home of a couple mythics and another 4 song.

what exactly did you do to get banned? I quit a long time ago, but should tell others how to avoid the same fate or simply share the story to ppl like me for the lawls lol.

it didnt make much sense to me, just said salvage ban, when i think salvage ban i think of duping items lol.

It's best not to talk about it as discussing cheats is forbidden on this site.

I thought linking cheats are banned, not discussing them.

2 things the most players are suspecting is: 1. repeating salvage floor to net alex in an unofficial way and 2. Reive/mob kill boting.

Eh, I'm going off more recent thread locks and the such, where as soon as the talk start /lock.

Thats because, aparently, some SE employer occasionally lurks around forums like ffxiah and bg. Ffxiah seems like a recognized community for SE, so having a topic where cheats/exploits are discussed can be viewed as spreading info, and maybe incentivating people to commit violations.

In other words, the more people are ignorant about the underground offfxi, the better for SE.

Which does to some degree mean they're ok with you using gearswap !

I don't think the reive/exp/salvage tricks out there are in any way underground. Literally warping to OuterRaz, Marjami, or Port Jeuno and seeing people go from having 0 alex for sale to 12 stacks in a matter of hours pretty much seals the deal that something is fishy.
