How is PDL neck a +9.1%, when +10%PDL itself is +10% damage and you have +15 STR on top of that.

Regardless, AGAIN, the final point is that you need 2500ish TP for Stardiver to outperform Drakesbane with augmented Ryunohige. PDL vs Fotia neck in no way changes this. Offline

Also could you post WS set for Drakesbane? It would be nice to know what you used. Sets for both DB and SD were pulled from the Here Be DRGs guide.
So Dragoon has a good slashing damage option now.
Finally we get Savage Blade. The Job was a Knight of Sandoria that did not have access to this skill, let alone the fact it is a jumping attack they could of easily mastered. Yet some how COR could use it before we could. Sadly for screwing around the best option I could find was Tanmo+1 offhand. RMEA polearm, Exalted Staff+1 and the Ambu Sword should cover all bases. The Impulse spear is neat if you have nothing better. Currently is just behind a 3000 to stardiver. So with the Impulse bonus it hits really hard paired with WSDMg. It's kind of similar to cross reaper in a way. I'm going to be using it on WAR when the situation calls for it. I mean DRG has a C- in swords, so....Although it could have been decent for procs in Abyssea, I guess.

DRG with sword has probably more accuracy than WAR or COR (because of native very high accuracy) Vampirism is probably our best offhand option. 25 STR is nice.

I am trying to figure out a use for it, though. I remember once I did Ony with a bunch of Savage Bladers, and I used Camlann's so I wasn't skillchaining. Savage Blade would have been stronger. But the whole thing was sub optimal, I should have been Mewing on SMN and let someone else hit it. And a lot of stuff strong to piercing is weak to blunt, and we have really solid options there already. Short of super niche like Ruann caturae shields or Temperance, I am not really thinking of anything. Offline

I feel that there is something wrong in those numbers for Impulse Drive Veikur.
With 2.156 fTP it should be 7011*2.156+4465 just from 2 base hits, which is 19580 before you even consider multi-attack proc. So where that 16253 comes from. It's the same for values after jumps. That would be a very bad option because it forces you to DW which is bad or use one hand which is worse. Savage Blade at 1K is weak but it experiences a huge amount of damage scaling with TP, which makes the magian gun near broken tier for COR.
DRG's have Stardiver, one of the strongest WS's in the game, along with a TP Bonus 500 weapon to use it with. It's just something to screw around with/another tool in the tool box. Quetz(Easy beads dual wield.. laziness yay!), Caturae, Warder of Temp, etc. There we go.
So where does the new Kaja Lance fall in relation to REMA options? I know the math is above. If I'm interpreting it correctly, it's comparable to Stardiver at 1k TP with a Ryu, but behind Trish? Or am I reading something wrong?
Best non-RMEAD, probably, including un-augmented. Impulse Drive from Kaja poops on Habile Mazrak Stardivers, and a well augmented Reienkyo isn't significantly better than a Habile Mazrak anyway.
SO what does a savage blade set look like for drg?
