Yes, it turns out that the whole augment system hates me quite a bit.

I doubt that +1 STR is keeping me on the high 900/1000+ side. I don't personally believe that WS ACC and ACC are fully related... but yet there is no proof at this time. And the reason people WS in osode over domaru is more STR for the 75% modifier on Y/G/K. In either case i've always seen higher or more consistent numbers with more WSACC.

Regardless it's just an added bonus that you don't have to eat food 24/7 or have other top gear to be at ACC cap. The true power behind this Gkatana is the 5 hit setup possibility. You could even have a 4 hit in campaign battle with that new strap.

To even do considerable parse damage a SAM must always have a 6 hit, the reason being less hits to WS. But now that 5 hit is easily accessible with some farming/time put into it... there is no reason not to achieve a 5 hit with as much haste as you can.

And that's the bottom line on this new weapon.

Those numbers dont really tell us anything because if you want a truthfull parse you would always need to ws with same amount of TP and on the same mob and always have the same buffs on. Those 8xx numbers could have been on a stronger mob, you could have had less tp, or maybe the brd or cor was sleeping and u didnt have all buffs on at the time. Its hard to tell which GK is better, but im 110% sure that WS acc has nothing to do with how strong Y/G/K is lol. I at least will never sell my hagun or risk it with crappy augments. ^^ Rindomaru is for poor people.

I really think there's too much hype over hagun. Yes, it's a great GK, and I'm not saying one way or another that these or hagun are better, but I definitely think that a lot of people are too 1337 to open their eyes to the possibility. Everyones just butt-hurt that they spent all that time on the bc or all that money to get a hagun, and now a new weapon comes out that will cost about 50k in a week or two that *might* actually end up being better.

As I said, Hagun is a very good GK, but wait until we see some more augment configurations and see what the damage is like with a 5-hit build in comparison to Hagun.

So anyone see any store tp on anything else besides the Gkatana? I wonder if there are specific augs that each weapon is going to get one way or another. I want to see what the scythe looks like on average.

So if you dont like the augments can you erase them and do it over or do you have to buy a whole new base weapon?

u basically get 5 tries for random augments per weapon traded, if u kill 1 nm and don't like the augments then u can reject it and go kill one of the other nm's till u get ones u like. i dunno if u can just kill the same one over and over or not tho

You can kill the same one over again, also if your friends have weapons turned in they can get it augmented after the win as well.

I got avatar perp -2 (NQ staves;;) and pet matt +2 which I declined, while my friend got a PLD one with shield +2 and added enflash.

That ones from FoV, the weapons that are crafted with odd damage: mainhand or ones such as the Gkatana are the fey ones.

That hagun one is a rare shot and wasted money if failed... people already reported -2 STR -1 STR -1 DEX and so on... not worth the risk lol.

*goes back to planning his augment Gkatana*

I don't know about everyone else, but a chance at eventually getting a Weskit with INT+ Mods or MACC+ is an Update I'm totally stoked about.

Keep the Augment results coming guys!

Some people have too much money plain and simple. There are people out there who really don't give a ***about throwing away 30mil repeatedly augmenting haguns and npc'ing them if they don't like it.

Sorry clinpachi, but I tend to agree with eldevine on the bolded parts here. Seems to be more likely a reflection of TP/Mob Level than the WSAcc itself. But if more testing with a much larger sample size shows that you are correct I will certainly eat my words.
