You can get them back, but can only do it once. When I get the augments I've been looking for, I'm going to toss all my bad augments and use my 1 time restore (1time restore means 1 time by the fact that u get a full restore one time, not 1 item restored.) They come back unaugmented.

No need. Really just tell them it was an accident or something and they will do it. But that's why its kinda a one time deal. So make it something good like a speed belt

You do realize there are two different account restoration processes you may be referencing- the first is an item restore which you can only do with one item, EVER. The next is an account rollback where they reset EVERYTHING back to a certain date, not just your crappy augments. Just letting you know your plan won't work.

Which is why you get an entire inventory to toss, not just the items you want. Nothing else rare of course, but just fill up your inventory w/ cheap low lv gear put that into the mix toss it all and say "oh hey, I got drunk and tossed all my inventory"
Also, ouch to the augments above.
Just did this one today. Philomath stole, in hopes of some INT+ or something good for BLM, did this with a RNG75/NIN37 friend and me as SCH75/RDM37.

I was never going to sell any of those items anyway, so any + stats is ok with me. I'm semi happy with the Kaman, MND+2 is excellent for RDM potency, but, however it loses some of it's purpose of beeing a MDB bow D; The Alkys are great for Cannonball/SC atleast :D
I augmented a Fay Gendawa and got an odd aug. AGI-6. anyone else seen something odd like this happen?

Just got +2 Ranged Attack, +1 INT on a Walkure Mask in Behemoth's Dominion.
Right but when they do the restore, they restore everything. Say I want my restore today, on monday. They'll restore the account to where it was say, last wednesday. OR you can restore a single item that you've dropped. Can't do a mix of both. You either rollback or restore a single item.
If you toss all your gear, you will NOT get it back. This isn't me trying to play know it all. I've actually done this somewhat(not all gear but about 15-20 pieces). You get one item back of your choosing. Thats it.

Well if you got /clocks on them and you used same pt setup I might be interested. Ive actually tried to force thigns and gotten rather similar augments. THe lack of -hp on yours makes me less interested though.
Miji and I don't believe in being able to predict the whole augment thing. So we don't clock. But you can figure out what time/day it was by looking at Vana'diel clock and being *** Tracy about it. XP

Not really. Even if I had the real day too that'd only tell me 1 of possible 3-4 difference moonphases it couldve been that day. And would still be alot of work lol
