I'm gonna have to try some out. I got a few things to try out.
What about ranger type augments? Are those 2 places the main place to get the best augments?
I tried jugner forest for a nomad's mantle :/ only got +2 dark resist

It's all based on the level. Just go to whatever area is for that item's level to augment it. Doesn't appear that the uncapped areas give better augments for low lvl gear than the lower level areas.

You can get them back, but can only do it once. When I get the augments I've been looking for, I'm going to toss all my bad augments and use my 1 time restore (1time restore means 1 time by the fact that u get a full restore one time, not 1 item restored.) They come back unaugmented.

I'm going w/ forager mantles till I get +4 acc minimum. When I get that I'm tossing the rest, restoring them, and reselling. Tor ring and other shitty augments are going w/ the bad forager's.
good luck gettin acc on that sems belts and back peices get the high end of luck as far as acc and attk from what ive seen on my server, friend got 6 attack on ww belt then 6acc next day...

Don't they actually roll back your account to a time that they choose at their discretion? Similar to a system restore on a PC. If that's the case, you may lose the augments you wanted to keep, and some game progress as well.
