My BLM friend did a genie weskit and got +9 wind or 19 wind... but i say thats a win lol his genie is better than yours! haha

My bad, I meant +5. People have tried warwolf belts, Lv.74 rings, haubergeons, hauberks, elemental staves, etc.
I'm not saying its impossible, just none have been reported yet. And with how many items have been augmented thus far, the chances for this to happen are approaching zero.

no haste? no thanks (even with 3 haste the warwolf belt is only so useful for most). but that would be sweet to have..

They're talking about using the belt as a WS belt. You know, swapping out your ~haste~ belt for this *** sweet belt when you WS. What does Hagun have to do with this?
i just mean 6 acc isn't ideal for the thing unless you're really hard up or have no weapon merits or something.

There has been no reported gear with +5 or higher of a stat having the same stat augmented on to it (except negative of said stat)
i've seen +6acc before, on a weapon..
i don't even wanna know how it works really, i'm just assuming it's slot specific but the values have the same maximum in fov, and that it's item specific otherwise. you *can* get 3% haste on a warwolf through fov.. or on clown's subligar and barone manopolas in ANNM, and maybe it could be on other post 70 belts but i haven't seen that fully tested
you can get up to 6 of a stat like DEX or STR too (with negatives).. or a stat up to 2 with just that being the positive i think?. other stats i've seen in excess of 6 like ranged accuracy. go ahead and look it up~~, these screenies are a dime a dozen (well usually more than a dime :cringe:)

I mean stats such as DEX AGI STR CHR INT MND. While its true you can get augmented with a INT+6 for instance on an item that has no INT, we've yet to see an item that already has say STR+5 get augmented with any type of STR+
oh, that's a good point. while my imagination tells me it's random enough to not have caps.. while you can get str on a str ring, i've never seen it add up to more than 5. so warwolf is most likely to get something else (read: chr)

An acquaintance of mine augmented a Snow Ring in VoS and got 'Magic Attack Bonus +1' and nothing else. Aesthetically pleasing, unique, and much better than the original. I was quite jealous.

I personally haven't seen many body pieces being augmented aside from weskits and a couple noble's tunics (which both turned out amazing). We've seen that you can get STR on a STR ring, so there's nothing to say that you can't get STR on a Domaru, and with the amount of STR rings I've seen done, I've seen only 1 with a 4 stat, so it could still be possible to get a STR ring with 4STR, just incredibly rare.
If you've got enough gil to blow 200k on a domaru every few days, then I say go for it, you could end up with a very sexy piece of gear, and also do some valuable testing for the rest of the sams out there.

and its not like i was LOADED with gil, i just had a domaru sittin in my storage, and then i sold my behemoth knife +1, dont really use it anymore, and just sold some junk, and farmed some ladybug wings lol i also have a nice friend who can craft them for me :]

I gotta agree thats borderline genius, im about temptyed to take advantage of the pathetic market on adaman cuirass and atleast try to get some high fire resist, but in th eprocess i may stumble across something kinda nice.

Where is this? And was it a flame ring with +str or a lesser ring with +1~2 str?
