I think I might get myself addicted to augmenting when I have enough gil to rebuy items of failed results. As far as I'm concerned, as long as you're not going into the negative stats, it came out good lol.

Second attempt at Weskit Augment in VoS got me Magic Accuracy +3 on it.
Also got DMG+5 Triple Attack +1 and Flash +8 on my Fane Baselard.

I got +3 attack augment on my warwolf belt. I'll have to get around to doing more soon. Going to try with my Koenig shield.

Seems like a common pattern, I got a "decent" one, AGI/CHR-1, MND+2. (ok for bind/para).

I have no doubt that SE will allow us to erase augment(Maybe costing FoV pts?) or re augment an item. Its just a matter of how long it will take them >.> After that, augments are gonna explode :D

I dunno, you did get the unlisted augment of -3 million gil (since it can never be listed on AH now), but that might not be a big deal to you. Personally speaking, I'm too much of a wuss to augment my HQ staves. XD

I think the opposite. This has been something that's gotten people to craft more low level items or just craft in general. This has also helped sales on alot of items that are cheap to help out on poor sales on items that have been npcd like warwolf belt.

Like look at the first picture, it shows a Ruby Ring augumented but shows it on the equip screen as a woodsman ring.
Or the pants, shows Byakko's Panties on the equip part but augumented shows Hachiman.
Or the belt, those look different also....
So you do realize, when you have an equipped item, when you click enter to change it and scroll over something else, it shows up at the bottom before you press enter again to equip it right? .... and you've played this game way longer then me...
