See, I can even be okay with chipped ham (not Isaly's; I refuse to use or pay for it), but...not like that.

A high-quality brand, tossed in a pan to cook it up some, and then put into a grilled ham and cheese sandwich is pretty good.

you know what's even worse? the way they make baked beans!

Rust belt baked beans recipe

Industrial sized can of baked pork n beans
opened and thrown into a crock pot.
add copious amount of ketchup, grape jelly, maple syrup, honey and brown sugar and anything else that is sickeningly sweet you have laying around

"Cook" until mushy and serve at church pot luck with crusty film caked around edges

Crock pots are the creations of the debil. Everyone thinks they can just grab a blob of meat, throw it in the pot, pour water on it and let it boil for 17 and a half hours (anyone get the reference?). It becomes a dried out, shoestring and you begin to wonder if that mystery meat you tossed in there was actually horsemeat.

I'm against crock pots to the highest degree. If you're going to cook something, take your time and do it right!

that's cheating! it's not chip chop ham if you use real ham and just slice it thin... it has to be a processed block of ham like product

Really, it's not an issue of it not being big enough, the space is just poorly apportioned. Fruit and vegetable drawers? Seriously? Who buys so much of that stuff they need entire drawers? I eat plenty of veggies and fruit, but I just hop by the store every few days and buy only as much as I need, fresh...

Meat and beer drawers, more like.

Edit: Also, I'd be offended at the use of the word "fatty" but...well. It would just be an argument of semantics.

I prefer "he of teddy bear qualities".

It's 11:30 here. I just heated my lunch.

While it's nothing we've discussed, it's still tasty leftovers from last night.

I've got some half-eaten salsa as well. I've been cutting back on the amount of junk food I eat, which means I buy fewer bags of tortilla chips. ._.;
