ItemSet 325510

This is what I use minus the body. I use orion+1. always us sole+1 or riverfin (if i can find on the ah)

I use Arcadian Bracers +1 for hands now and only swap to Sigyn's when I need acc. That set is fine; like I said I don't have the #s on Arcadian Jerkin+1 vs Orion Jerkin+1 but if you have snapshot merited (which you should) it makes sense that Arcadian would win, unless you really needed the r.acc.

As far as food, I use pot-au-feu, kohlrouladen or riverfin depending on event/set-up and who I'm going with

edit: tried /checkparam with this set on (with arcadian+1 instead of sigyn's) and am at 972 r.acc. Should probably use Kyu for delve2 and D/VD high-tier battlefields regardless of whether it makes a 4hit

2x Gjallarhorn Prelude and Hunter's Roll (Was enough even before the new rings) with a base of ~990 Ranged Accuracy should be enough accuracy for Delve 2 and Difficult AAs while eating Red Curry.

http://bg-wiki.com/bg/Red_Curry_Bun

This was like this 8 months ago when i left the game, with as much as people use RCB on RNG for non-racc food, if it was incorrect, I would have assumed it would have been fixed by now.

As far as food for RNG, Only good options I see are:

Kohlrouladen +1 or Riverfin Soup if you need R Acc

Dragon Steak or Hydra Kofte if you do not.

Or if you wanna be cheap Pot-a-feu/Sushi lol.

I don't understand the first part of your post.

Also, kohlrouladen and pot-au-feu are almost the same.
I'd rather use salisbury steak over kofte as well, but that's just me.

The link is to BGwiki, and is pertaining to this:

Quote:
HP +25
Strength +7
Agility +1
Intelligence -2
Attack +23% (Cap: 150@652 Base Attack)
Ranged Attack +23% (Cap: 75@375 Base Ranged Attack)
Demon Killer +4%

Also I could see Salisbury Steak in place of Hydra Kofte if you felt like gearing for the -Store TP, but that kinda feels like beating a dead horse, Probably just easier to use Dragon Steak/Hydra Kofte but to each their own.

So that's 90 from Ghorn Preludes, 40~ from Hunter's Roll, total of 1120. Assuming a pickup setup which is what I am mainly aiming for of no Cor and a +3 Brd I'd need around 1000 accuracy to use Red Curry. Probably more realistic to use Pot-Au-Feu so like 950 Accuracy. Seems like that set I posted earlier is enough.

Riverfin Soup and Coursers roll instead of Hunter's roll is always the correct choice.

Edit: This is only if you care about the ego stroke/have gil to burn

Realistically there is no content in the game that requires Riverfin Soup and you can easily get by with Pot-Au-Feu or Sushi and still clear.

Whats your avg EES on relevant content? On AAs I do anywhere from 2.3-3k just stacking RATT on every slot.

Though fully buffed last stands can do a bit more on this Mob.

Very nice but I assume that's a crit and not an avg.

try it and see.

Aura down with a decent set and buffs and that is normal, maybe even on the low end depending on how many minuets you're afforded.

There is no -sTP. I did testing (albeit not extensive, but I'd say it was fairly conclusive)

I thought the -STP on Smoldering salisbury steak was disproven?

It's around 20k cheaper than hydra kofte on my server.

Ah, well, if that's true than yeah, Smoldering Salisbury Steak if you can get it, if not Dragon Steak/Hydra Kofte would be second.

It's a moot point really, as Riverfin Soup is going to give you more RATK/RACC in total with 3 minuets and 1 prelude (or 4 minuets and 1 prelude) Then Double Prelude and 3 minuets with (SV)

We use 2 CORs. Hunter's/Chaos + Courser's/Rogue's. So Red Curry Bun is still the correct choice for me. I've already been quite sure that the cap of Red Curry Buns is higher than what sites listed. No idea where that lower cap came from however many years ago it showed up. But just to make 100% sure, I logged in and used one. 1010 --> 1165 attack. 150 cap. I was solo so no idea what difference having a party member would have made.

Could use Riverfin, Get SAM roll. 3 hit. (not being snarky, just saying thats preferable with 2 cor)

Even 40 Store TP from an XI would only give me 31.4 TP/hit with Recycle. And not building 2 sets for when I have or don't have SAM roll. Also not going to tell the rest of the LS they need to have extra builds for SAM roll up or down.

Yeah, with getting 2 COR buffs, I can assume you run with only LS and don't have to worry about someone being a derp and getting everyone killed, thus wasting a 200k+ soup (as often happens in pick-up-groups, which is why I tend to use kohlrouladen/pot-au-feu)

It's easy to make a GS rule for SAM roll up. I'm not trying to antagonize either so hope you don't take it that way.

Was assuming Anni. With Anni and the new COR ring it's very very easy to 3 Hit (and you should be any time you have 2 cors.)

The rule is easy yeah, but I have 4 TP sets already for varying accuracy. Don't really want to have to deal with varying Store TP now too. I guess only 1 set is a 4-hit so I could use if SAM roll and if that TP set then equip a couple extra Store TP pieces but then I'd still have to assume it's at least 40 Store TP from the roll. And if it wasn't I'd be wasting slots on Store TP for no reason.

Might not be 100% worth it for Yoichi (it could be depending on how much STP you could swap out, but who has time for yoichi maths).

With 2 CORs and Annihilator, if you're not 3 hitting you're missing out.

If I take my current set posted on the last page, add 40 STP from Samurai roll, add 15 more STP to my TP set which would be back, waist, and legs, and then further modify my Jishnu's set to make sure I get back 33 TP from that it would work. Still have to land Recycle on WS and both shots after. Not sure if it's worth the effort lol. After they give us Empyrean 119 it'd be better. Need the STP from the legs and hands back.

hmmmmm well that's the thing i'm just in a social LS and rarely do any kind of events that involved so much folks, i usually join shout events more often if anything that's why i'm trying to see if they are really worth getting or not which i wont mind if i'm going to be putting them into good use most of the time but if not i'll probably just pass on them.
So they are worth it when you're using 2 corsairs.

I wish there was just a chart, one that shows what you need to xhit
Kinda like what Kincard did for the nin forum, having 6 different sets at varying states of haste/dw.

IE;
Anni; stp tp/ws 4hit 4/4 recycles
Anni; stp tp/ws 4hit 3/4 recycles

Yoichi; stp tp/ws 5hit 5/5 recycles

etc etc, that'd be really awesome if someone added that, then there wouldn't be a thousand of the same question.

Something like this?

Still need to calculate how many recycles you would need but its been pretty helpful to me.

Yeah, like that, but it's inaccurate, it's from 2012, it's only slightly inaccurate but nevertheless.

And no recycles, you have to add it up manually etc. I'd rather one guy just make a sweet chart for references.
