Need some more testing/confirmation for this JP rumour:
Apparently if you augment Nibiru Harp with Song +2 (Path A,B&C) it will actually invalidate the Carol +2 on the Harp itself but give you Song +4 in total. This would basically make Blurred Harp +1 into a worthless item and give every hobby hard an economy Gjallarhorn. People in another LS have "confirmed" this to be true. However I am not trusting a small amount hearsay. Anyone interested in testing this some more ? Even if its true, its obviously a glitch and will not last long. Enjoy it while you can.

Looks like it has already been reported by the jp and it is under accepted bugs: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/threads/52842-%E3%83%8B%E3%83%93%E3%83%AB%E3%83%8F%E3%83%BC%E3%83%97%E3%81%AE%E6%80%A7%E8%83%BD%E3%81%8C%E6%AD%A3%E3%81%97%E3%81%8F%E3%81%AA%E3%81%84

do minuet merits and job points apply to the attack boost of honor march?
Ramuh.Austar said: » do minuet merits and job points apply to the attack boost of honor march? Only "March+" gear affects all honor march. It boosts all aspects. If it was called "Honor Minuet" then sure, merits would affect it. i've seen dumber things before. i know only march + on gear applies
If you use a moten gearswap and mousai manteel my mote-mappings.lua had ltng. threnody/ltng. threnody II mapped incorrectly.
Something to check. Gearswap>libs>Mote-Mappings.lua Hey guys. New to gearswap. I found this over at bluegatr.
I was wondering if any gearswap experts could tell me what command to input in order to get 4 songs from daurdabla in this script? https://github.com/Kinematics/GearSwap-Jobs/blob/master/BRD.lua Thank you. That lua is setup to use macros for dummy songs. Use this as a top line in a dummy song macro: /console gs c set ExtraSongsMode Dummy Perfect thank you.
So my dummy songs would be /console gs c set ExtraSongsMode Dummy /wait 1 /song whatever? Do that 4 times then just cast whatever songs I want x4? Thank you again. You shouldn't need a wait between that, give it a try without.
You don't need to do 4 dummy songs. Put two full strength songs up, then two dummy songs, then overwrite those 2 dummy songs. Someone please give me 5x Mousai+1 ktnxbai.
Asura.Sechs said: » Someone please give me 5x Mousai+1 ktnxbai. Noone seems to be making them religiously like the other Su3 sets, so I took up bonecraft for this very reason. The market is horrible so its almost a complete loss to attempt. :\ To be fair SE could've made em slightly more attractive.
I mean the Head is actually no gain unless you get the HQ to make an example. And even then you get a whole powerful +1 stat to Etudes, for the small amount of what, 200+ mils? I mean... I've been lazy and didn't bother even with the NQ items, especially because NQ is gonna *** up durations by having lower values than what you normally equip in the Legs and Feet slots for instance. /sigh It's a duration loss with NQ body too, granted that's not really relevant, but it's also a loss in terms of Macc when you compare it to other options in the same slot. In my very very very humble opinion the two NQ pieces which are worth are the hands (won't *** up durations) and body (gonna improve threnodies for a modest loss in macc) So yeah, I dunno, I'm kinda lying to myself and pretending the set doesn't exist atm. Oh the pretty, warm, wonderful world of self-deception! I'd agree that they are very unexciting pieces. Basically no stats other than +song except the body that has magic accuracy.
I do think they are worth getting except maybe the feet. Head: Etude duration +10%. Body: slight threnody potency increase at the expense of 2% duration. Hands. Probably the best piece. +10% potency to Carol I, +1% nulification rate to carol II and 10% duration which carol is sorely missing. Also I believe they are the best magic evasion hands(except for the hq) in the game crushing even Inyanga+2. (Shared with some other Su3 hands for other jobs) Legs: Minne potency+10%. A Fairly large boost for high tier minnes at the expense of 7% duration. Arguably the 2nd best piece in my opinion.. except that wilt is a thing. Feet: While stacking evasion probably does work, the acc/eva floor kinda kills its effciency vs multiple mobs. I feel like this is probably skipable cause bard very rarely casts mambo. That said I did buy all the nq pieces. Sylph.Funkworkz said: » You shouldn't need a wait between that, give it a try without. You don't need to do 4 dummy songs. What songs should I sing as the dummy songs? Lets say I want to sing March x2 and Minuet x 2. What would the order be with the dummy songs included? Thank you. March would be my pick for the first two (doesn't matter tbh, but melee usually prefer march).
Dummy songs would be either Paeon 1/Paeon 2 or the rarely used songs like Shining Fantasia, Scots Operetta, Goblin Gavotte, etc. Sylph.Funkworkz said: » March would be my pick for the first two (doesn't matter tbh, but melee usually prefer march). If I sing Paeon after March I'm scared Minuet would replace Marches and I'd be left with 2 Paeon and 2 Minuet instead of March and Minuet lol. Thank you again for your advice. When you sing a new song, it replaces the song with least remaining duration. In the lua you linked above, the "buff" sets have extra +duration pieces (note: some of that gear is outdated, there are more/longer +duration pieces available now- check the BG wiki). The dummy set in that lua doesn't have those +duration pieces. This means your dummy songs are always going to have the minimum duration on them. As long as you're singing songs one after the other (like when you're buffing before a fight), the dummy songs should automatically get replaced. But remember, this only works if you have some +duration gear in your buff set. And ideally you'll have as much of that as you can get anyway, since it will make your life on BRD a lot easier.
It takes practice, and I suggest you fool around with it to get comfortable with the timing before you start actually buffing your party. It gets really complicated when you are reapplying songs or individually putting up dummy songs with pianissimo on melees who ran before you finished your initial buffs (happens every time), but this simple rotation will be enough to get you going: March 2 March 1 Dummy Madrigal Dummy Minuet Good luck! I actually prefer getting up the full volume of whatever songs up first, and then NITRO the real songs. Saves me NITRO Duration, at the cost of 1-2 extra song singing time of buffing. Would only do that way if NITRO is already up and I am buffing a second party.
