Charybdis.... camped it for about a month before getting claim because other ls's camping it for bored needy BRDs....
Simurgh... camped it for 3 or 4 months daily watching about 80 RMT claim it every day. . . used to be the worst NMs in the game imo, and the worst HNM was KB... we actually had a guy target my ls that would steal claim and CFH it every time we got claim. off the top of my head, back in the day I camped Xolotl a lot, and never did get the dagger lmao

I needed access to bibiki bay for mules cop cutscene, so i decided just low man a quick vw tavnazia climb, with full displacers. Was going smoothly till i decided to fight bismarck. Even with 5 dispkacers, he was a damn pain. Not a good one to multibox solo. And without pld to hold damn adds. Got horribly mutilated by the chariot NM in Abyssea-Grauberg today (just the WS Discoid). Even with a full 119 AF set it makes no difference -.-;

Dearest King Arthro... Please go die in a fire. I hated this mob with a bloody passion but brought endless entertainment when some poor sap managed to rage him.
Followed by Kirin. 6 years of sky before I got those stupid W. Legs. I don't think I ever jumped out of my chair in excitement from seeing an item drop into my inventory. 6 Years..? Surely you weren't trying very hard, that's pretty remarkable, even for the prime days of XI.
Once I started to take endgame seriously, within two years I obtained every single (bar Morrigans, and other exceptions) item of value for Red Mage. Though I can't deny having immense luck here and there. Nashira Seraweels/Dalmatica took me the longest to obtain, the latter I was extremely lucky on. Double drop A.Body Odin, I wouldn't have even been on lotting rights, had the other person in front of me been there. This is one of those epic FFXI moments that's etched into my head for all eternity It was about 2 pops every two weeks (how often my linkshell did Kirin) at first and then 2-3 pops a month after everyone got all the stuff they really wanted and stopped caring about sky. It was pretty ridiculous. Assuming a linkshell jump here and there but I would usually always bring a pop on myself and a couple of mules to have a chance outside of "linkshell pops." I remember when it dropped I was silent for a good 20 seconds (was on Skype with my gf at the time) and then there was eat piercing cheering.
I could have tried harder but this was when sky still had a decent amount of random people in it and I would farm pops solo on red Mage when I could. Leaping Lizzy, I think over a period of 7 years I've killed her like 60+ times, never got those god damned boots -_-

Bah no picture of Lost Fairy Ring on the wiki. It;s one of those NM's I never had the 'pleasure' of fighting. (I haven't done any dreamworld Dynamis).
I do remember all the bosses for Dyna-Bastok, Windy, Sandy, Jeuno, Beau... oh damn THIS THING  It took so damn long to get win way back. Bloody cheap NM that chickens out, casts Death and let his little army of Dragons do all the dirty work. Asura.Jezzus said: » Just ran into this one by mistake yesterday... still annoying... Actually I went there first, but didn't think the spawn points were enough for my liking. The spawn in Abyssea is a lot larger, you just have Adze to deal with.
