Looking at the Amano art again and trying to decipher it...

Not even a week will go by and there will be a torrent for it.
Oh yeah, people probably spotted it by now, but one of pictures from the website had the Adoulin Alliance banner on it (at least that's what I think it was).

As a longtime FFXI fan I am extremely happy about this for many reasons.
The last time we had any real expansion(not one that just copy and pastes old zones with new mobs) was Treasures of Aht Urhgan, and that was a long time ago. Hell I only just got my first job to 75 as it was released.
Recently the game has bored me to death. I love Final Fantasy games, I realize sometimes you need to grind for a bit to get levels/weapons/equipment, but FFXI seemed to have taken that to a whole new level, where you would need to grind Abyssea/Voidwatch/Dynamis constantly if you wanted to get anything good. And the content can be fun at times, but if your trying to get an Empyrean, or a Relic, your pretty much spending weeks, and months doing the exact same thing over and over again.
This is not what Final Fantasy is to me, Final Fantasy is about new content, doing new storylines, meeting new characters, beating up completely new monsters in an uncharted world is what draws me to play these games.
Hell I got so bored with FFXI, I decided to go back in time and clear older games, like FF4, 5 and 6, and I notice a huge difference between those games, and the more recent FInal Fantasy games.
I hope the newer expansion has the best storylines since the game began, and not just another grind fest which ultimately leads to players getting bored after a number of months. The mission line should be the longest, most diverse and challenging to date. Not something like the newer add ons which you could complete in a day or two, but missions that may take a lot longer to complete, and require linkshells to pull together to complete them.
I don't like how FFXI has turned into a low man, dual boxing, out for yourself kind of game, the game really needs to get back to its roots, and pull everyone together to fight some of the best fights yet.

Is the character closest to the foreground in the center picture, on the Seekers of Adoylin the second new job? I just ask because his armor is out there, he seems to have a GS, and there's a Geomancer right behind him.
So many sponsors, god damn.
I want that god-damn chiptune album. Don't make me pirate it SE :(
