After there will be Project XI - FINAL FANTASY XI Director's Panel for an hour, english stream will be offline. A live quest on the jp channel while the english stream has a special guest for an hour.
Ending tonight will be a 2nd music performance, nomad mog bonanza Finale, and a recap of tonight on the english stream.

Maybe it's a marketing thing. PS2 still actually sells units over in Japan. Infact, it used to (up until recently) compete consistently with 360 in sales figures lulz. I'm sure it'll still be over here though xD

The second job is definitely a DD.
No PS2 support stated on the official site. And the other new job looks like a spellsword type character.
Since only SE knows how many players still actively play on which system, I'm gonna take a stab that PS2 users outside of Japan might be too low to bother with a printing?

If stuff sells, and people continue to play FFXI, SE has a plenty of areas to make expansions out of.

Highly doubt that Mime is the second job, considering that it wouldn't fit the lore of what we have learned about the new expansion. From what we know, it takes place in a jungle setting and Geomancer is able to actually use the earth to its advantage. My guess is either Viking or Berserker if anything. Those two seem to fit in perfectly, more so Berserker though cause it seems to be that "primal" job based on the universal lore of what they are. Just one mans thoughts though. Game has never nor will it be what we want also. The jobs are meant to be one thing then we turn and make them into something else which is what an RPG is all about.
