I was finally able to solo Briar 35/50 helms now. I know most people say this is easy but considering that I don't have as good of gear as most people, it's a step up actually.

How are you guys getting your SKCs? I'm finding them absolutely horrid to collect. And yeah the delve NM's are stingy as f*ck with learning their spells.
Party of 6 gets multiple SKCs very easily, bring a thf main along. Time between crests dropping is like 1-2 mins instead of 5min if you roll with a full party.
Go full roaming meripo mode and kill anything that moves in a place like woh gates. Ive made 2-3 orbs an evening this way.

I never even farmed any, just got them from the log in campaign, asked people in my LS if they wanted to join and someone would bring a orb too. You only need to do 1 normal and 1 difficult to upgrade a piece if you have the +1. If you have a mule you can use there log in points too.

That is awesome! I was doin that up until about level 60 then I broke and boosted to 99 but that's good that you stuck it out and made it all the way to 99 with all the spells. Real blue mage's learn them all. Not pick and choose. That's laziness. And yeh, sure you had to of gotten others to help but if they came out it was their choice. I love helping other blu's learn spells. And even better when you go out with another blu and both try to learn it. I love this job and I know you do too because of all the time and effort you put into it. So CONGRATULATIONS!!! And good luck to ya. Maybe I'll see you around ragnarok sometime!

No. You will NEVER need body slam.
There are various spells like that.
Hydroshot, etc.

He can do what he wants for completionists' sake. I personally enjoyed getting all the spells back then, especially Body Slam, bc it was a ***.
What is a real BLU though? Defined by what? A real lawyer knows every thing there is to know, ins and outs, loopholes. A "real" BLU knows all his spells and how to use them ;D

I don't care if it's considered junk versus the other top swords, I don't care that my gear is horribly outdated after coming back all these months later, but Almace was and always will be my favorite weapon.

Congrats! Did you convert a drop or buy it? I have the wins but havent won a lot on drop, considering just coughing up the gil to get jubbah and hachiryu mail+1s.
Got from BCNM. Probably gonna buy last 2 for SAM and NIN bodies. Very disappointed NIN legs didn't get any extra DW. :/ Oh well, 1 less piece to +1.

It's an epic off hand due to iLevel accuracy and the 20 DEX. Only outclassed by the new Anahera Saber which hasn't had a confirmed drop yet. Judging by the other AA weapons it's a super low drop rate.

Well assuming someone already had 99 Almace to begin with, the boulders are stupid cheap, now 30~50K cheap. So 9~15M isn't really that much overall.

I was meaning someone with 85/90 almace or none at all. It's a no-brainer if you already have 99 almace.
