The question: Which is "better", empy or relic h2h, and why do you feel this way?
Also if you have relic h2h do you use Final Heaven or Shijin Spiral?

Lol got ya, but i figure the ODT on relic beats out the ODD of emp in parse. Even if VS smashes SS in damage which im not sure of either. Im noob mnk just looking ahead to see which i wanna do.
13% ODT is equal to 26% ODD, and ODD on Vere is 30% at 100 TP.
As far as I'm aware:
Low buffs --> Spharai
Proper buffs --> Vereth

i honestly was kinda hoping relic was better... chloris is a nightmare where as relic is just 4 months of leisurly soloing dyna lol

the base dmg increases significantly for bose relic and empy from 95 on, whatever you choose, you should do it to 95 at least in any case.
If you can make relic, you can 99 your vere.
Um. Lolalibur is the only way to go.
yah i dont got the funds to out right make a relic, or even do it quickly. The best i could do on a relic is about 3 months. I do intend to build 1 some day, i just dont know what its going to be.

If you do solo dynamis at all on a semi-regular basis, make spharai. Shijan is better if you are in there without attack buffs, and the ODT is always up unlike vereth's, which won't be if you are using tp to cure yourself and don't have a haste source. On top of that the attack is more useful than the +str vereth gives, and Spharai is more useful from a defensive standpoint as well.
Conversely if you do more things with others, and plan on having the buffs, Vereth is probably the better call. The way you mention leisurely though I'd expect you are planning on building whichever slowly and without burdening other's for help. I'd go with Spharai if that's the case.

yah id like to just go at it myself, my friend come some times and we just split the currency drops. which doesnt bother me none. As is though im working on my alchemy for a source of gil other then dyna.
I solo farmed my relic about 80%. And it took roughly 3 months. I think its totally worth it.
Empy faster and cheaper to 90. Relic faster and cheaper from 90 to 99. I have spent a ton trying to get my Ukkon to 95. Been dirt poor for 6 months.

Certainly seems to be accurate. 90 vereth has been drastically outperforming 95 spharai on ADL with max buffs. Also biased towards vere since impetus is up for every fight + starting with 300 TP, but it is what it is.

Make verethregna 99! The only times people are on mnk, are usually when you're super buffed. And I'm almost positive you wouldn't be making spharai for the purpose of solo, since you have almost all jobs leveled (bst dnc), which will outperform mnk on most content you would solo.
Vere actually isn't hard to get I made mines in 2 days not 24hr/day but 2 days gameplay not counting the kill and vwalkers just from mantis to vere 80 and to 85 took 2 days chloris is easy so far I don't regret making it inside lolbyssea it spikes for up to 8 somtimes 9k with no brew and in vw max has been 6k on gaub haven't tested on tougher vwnms since i'm asked to go drk D; but ya love vere dont feel like spending 4 monks on relic h2h since I want other relics

I don't know what prices are like on other servers, but on Valefor the Heavy Metal Plates for 90 to 95 Vere would cost roughly as much as buying all the currency for one and a half Spharai.
1 Byne Bill: 7.5K x 10400 = 78 mil
O. Bronzepiece: 7.8K x 1400 = 10.92 mil
T. Whiteshell: 6K x 6100 = 36.6 mil
Total price = 125.52 mil
Heavy Metal Plate: 120K x 1500 = 180 mil
Riftcinder: 900K x 60 = 54 mil
Total price = 234 mil
Personally I would rather build 2 relics than get the relatively small increase 90 to 99 will give my Verethragna.
As to the OP's question, my vote goes to Verethragna. As others have said the main times to use Monk is when you'll get buffs. So unless you plan to do some hardcore soloing Vere will handle your solo needs just fine.
