I'd like to see Microsoft's fair and reasonable terms for other people "infringing" on their "rights"

this has gotten way out of hand...
I love how people are still complaining about how microsoft forced people to use internet explorer like 10 years ago. But are totally letting companies like Google and Facebook data mine the hell out of their personal information and sell it to people. You know, that stuff microsoft never did. Lulz
Microsoft never needed to, they were the company behind everything you would buy...
not really, Mac was always there, you could also do lunix.

I'm just saying, I think it's funny how people make it seem like Micro was infringing on peoples rights, which it didn't do when companies that ACTUALLY ARE infringing on rights don't even get batted an eye at.

Microsoft still holds a near monopoly on the pc industry.

most don't know how to use linux.

Mac is worthless.

Microsoft infringes upon other people's rights on a consistent basis, just as people "infringe" upon theirs, all companies do, which is what I was really referring to, not whatever garbage you're spewing.

They may hold a near monopoly but who cares.

In the end it benefits app/game developers not having to remake their game for 10 different OSs and in the end that benefits us.

Even if let's say the government forced microsoft to only hold a 20% market share of operating systems and 4 new ones had to be created.

I think a lot of game developers would just say screw PC and move to console. Unless it was something simple that could be played in any browser.

If Apple products (Mac, ipod, iphone) don't support flash, how does YouTube run on them then?

I still don't see why the court ruled that no 360's are allowed to be sold in Germany until this is sorted. I'm sure Microsoft and Motorola will come to some kind of pay off situation and it will be resolved that way. It's all just a bit mad.

because i'm pretty sure youtube has stepped away from flash and uses html5.. though i guess i could be wrong O.o but i thought it was that way for a long while now.

and safari browser is compliant with html5, even on their mobile devices.

I whole heartily disagree.

It would make so many things better that it's worth any negative side effects.
