Churches and other houses of worship are NOT mandated to provide birth control for their employees however when a church wants to operate as a business and hire people who may not share the faith guess what? You gotta do what other businesses do and provide for employees.

Paying for birth control is exponentially better than paying for programs like Medicaid. Yeah...I agree. I don't like knowing that I'm paying for some fifteen-year-old tramp to start a family when I'm at the age where I would like to start my own, but why not give young girls Ortho-Evra, Ortho-Tricyclin, etc.? It's better than the alternative. Another goofball who is receiving medical care, food stamps, and the list goes on...to support a kid that she is in no way mentally prepared for?

Unless there's something to replace that education of course it's going to go up..

Can you show that the education that was cut out was replaced, in equal proportions, with something else? I mean if they cut out speed traps, you can reasonably assume speeding and accidents will go up as well..

Gonorrhea can be contracted via oral to phallic route. And infect the throat!
Syphilis can be contracted via oral to phallic route.
Herepes(genital) and HPV also.
HIV is really low via oral so i wont include that.

Most individuals do not use dental dams or condoms when performing oral sex so yes abstinence does reduce STI's moreso than condoms.

Here is the silly part about all of this. The whole thing is about mandating insurance plans to cover birth control. However if you have insurance in most cases, unless you're on medicaid, health insurance costs anywhere from 100+ a month, and 100$ is on the extreme low end.

So just for an example, if your insurance is 1200$ a year, and your copay is 10$ per refill, you're looking at 1320$ a year. With no insurance, you can get birth control for 10-15$ at walmart, target, wherever quite easily. If you're on medicaid of course then you should go to a free clinic, (and most free clinics will give you contraceptives without any paperwork for free.

The entire discussion about birth control deals solely with mandating it to be part of insurance plans. Seems to me that women have plenty of options to get BC at a more affordable price than even going through the hassle of insurance in the first place.
