WHEEEEE ALL BLACK EVERYTHING
omg, scragg should remove the names too.
That way we have to figure out who we are talking to :O... .-. j/k So let's use FFXIAH.com as an example of being subject to SOPA policies and enactment.
Excluding our ability to directly embed images, links, and youtube videos and other things of the like, would this mean we could no longer have a direct display of Square-Enix based content without direct consent or affiliation with Square-Enix? Could be wrong Hard to say... I thought it was various divisions and branches of government that were shot callers as to what sites get blocked or disabled based on the reports fed to them from sources pertaining to those that are infringing on copyrighted material. Just as badly if the power is put in the hand of the companies themselves, there's nothing stopping them from doing it at their own will without any justification or basis for doing so. maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan. I went to see if i had any all black clothes to wear tomorrow ;_; everything's in the wash and it's 1am... too lazy Q_Q
edit: posts that were posted today should remain black even after today passes! >: I commend ffxiah for their outward opposition of SOPA. Well done!
I thought wikipedia was going all out black today? no? or just later?
:< Scragg didn't pay the electric bill, and now everyone's avatars are pitch-black.
You guys and your colors, that was soooooooo 20min ago~!

Sadly my Rep is Michelle Bachmann and I don't trust her as far as I can throw 3 elephants stacked on top of each other while I lie on the ground under them. So I wrote to Al Franken, a rep in my state, and told him my opinion, even stating why I wrote him over Michelle Bachmann.
Still, this will lead to a lot of protest, but only protest that would matter is a complete protest of all music and hollywood. Cancelling your cable, not buying, going to, or renting any movie. Stop downloading music, buying music or even going to concerts. Beyond cutting deep into the industry that is pushing this bill forward, it won't matter once it is passed. Any protest on the internet against it will just be shut down. Any video/article/review of a movie or music that is unfavorable will be removed. Quite scary considering we look at China and North Korea and cringe thinking of bad it would be if that happened here, well prepare to see it first handed. |
