Apocalypse95 VS Ragnarok 95
My thought as always been standing DD>death one, that's just me though.
Ragnarok have always been my fav. relic.
Why did I do Apoc first?
Because I'm pretty sure I'd be rather mad at myself if I did Ragna first, and a situation occurred where the utility of Apoc would be handy.
Basicly, if you think through it enough, you'll understand that Apoc -> Ragna, if you have to choose one.
If you'r doing both, do Apoc first.
Probably been said before, but I really don't see how it can be hard to understand <_>

Unfortunately dying on dyna-san boss with a full pt of lvl 90 while doing Aegis trial says hi "Mega Boss" :/
I wonder how hard your mule works atm!

How about both are situational better? Besides Ukon war > bravura war > Sam > everything else > drk
The only time Rag > Ukon for WAR is when the WARs 2hr is up and even then its too close to matter. (in VW Ukon is winning either way)
Uploaded the full parses on my website
Found a VW parse with Apoc,RagDRK,RagWAR
The 2nd parse is me beating out one of the nicest WARs in this game, it doesn't happen often but you asked for an impressive Apoc parse.

In my 6 years of playing dark always wanted a apoc did I understand the use of it back then....nope. I wanted it cause it was the ultimate weapon at the time and pure badass looking. As time went on and I started to look into the weapons and understand ffxi better I so wanted a apoc cause of its use. Doing salvage at 75 with a apoc drk me thf and a rdm and watching that drk survive like it was nothing always amazed me. I'm doing apoc first then will do rag for fun times on war and drk but apoc to me is one of the best weapons se ever made.

I'm sure I woulda lived if pld could use ragnarok with aegis but that would be a bit broken don't you agree^^
You probably also know that everytume I die I sat to myself "if only I made Apoc QQ"
If that were true, guess what, I woulda made an Apoc. But, 90% of what I die to kills me in 1 to 2 hits after my fanatics wears off. I have given Apoc its utility use title but let's not forget that we rag users can also change to war and (idk why) pld which is utility in its own way :)
You ppl who have posted about Apoc all sound like you lowman/solo on drk soooo my advice is to go out there and make some friends! :D

No one ever told you Apoc makes you invincible. All we're saying is that it takes you to another level of survivability, making DRK more versatile. No one said DRK can replace PLD as tank or something like that. And tell me, what is the utility of a PLD or a WAR with GS?
