If that was right I should have lost 2 heal potency when I removed a piece of +6 mind gear but instead I only lost 1 (and then lost another when removing a +2) From the testing I've tried out so far it's between 3-4 mind per 1 heal potency. (Higher than 3 but no higher than 4) I still haven't tested out too much with the M. Accuracy yet though so I dunno if it's the same ratio or not. no I didn't say the stat window changes your healing potency I said your effective cure power is on a scale of 1heal.pot =2.6667mnd so the effect of adding more MND has a dual purpose in booth increasing heal potency in the window AND increasing the formula used behind the scenes in cure power. cure III: 196+(heal potency*1.5)+(MND*.25) <this is not final but a theory someone posted that has been accurate so far (with a small random RNG of around 15 in either direction) everyone whos putting more than 2 materias on ***are you waiting till the item is re-spiritbound before attempting the 3rd? or are you just breaking tons and tons of them
Asura.Fondue said: » everyone whos putting more than 2 materias on ***are you waiting till the item is re-spiritbound before attempting the 3rd? or are you just breaking tons and tons of them it's already been confirmed that spiritbonding equipment doesn't change the % of adding materia. the confirmation was floating around the interwebs for like the last week and we tested it and it does nothing. There are slight percent differences when you put a lower tier before a higher tier, instead of higher tier to a lower tier. Tachi Koma said: » FYI you can increase % by maxing spiritbond Prove me that. I tested with all materias and no increasement of the %. If you insist talking that increase % post a item before spiritbond and after that is 100% spiritbond. The chance for attaching multiple materia drops dramatically though, but there are some tips to increase these chances. High quality items increase their chance per each level of HQ. Meaning a +2 item would have a higher chance of success than a +1 item and so on. The order of materia inserted into gear also matters. The best success rate I have found for attaching materia is to go from rank 3 to rank 4 materia of different types. The final element that I have observed is that qualities of materia within a rank also affect the outcome, better quality materia within the same rank will decrease the chance for success.

I notice that too. if you go for perfect materia into each Tier you're losing around 2%. Darksandro said: » Tachi Koma said: » FYI you can increase % by maxing spiritbond Prove me that. No silly Matzilla! Cause spiritbond resets when you trade items :p
well its stupid to begin with that you can just put stuff in a bazaar to be repaired, but you have to physically trade some stranger your materia and gear to get it attached!
Ya they said they are going to make it so you can meld from a bazaar, so it's coming soon!
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I got really lucky on these but its worth it when they go in. 1/1
Nice meowie! /slap raikki for me
![]() Got lucky on these glove today ^^ 37 STR Applez can you do me a big favor? Could you take the time to see if you could figure out the mnd cap? I am wondering if the mnd cap from mnd materia if reflected in the attribute window.
applez is trolling us I bet the farm he did not make x2 5 piece materias
Nothing "omg epic" but enough to make me very happy. 1/1 on both.
![]() Used 50 MP3/4 today trying make a 3x... nope
someone in my shell had a crit attack body with x3 materia for 150 crit power and blew it up going for 4th >.>
I find 3x T4 50 crit (highest possible) very unlikely. I'm having enough trouble trying to M3 attack gloves with all T3 materia, something I'm estimating will cost at least 40m to do (~400k a piece).
Sorry, but pics or it didn't happen. the person had 600M before the said body piece was made, after they had 300'ish+ so you can do the math lol
anyone who gets 7/7 ifrit weapons for their mule well ya... :D edit: its possible they used 4x materia's but I know they wanted to hit 200crit and they used at least 2 perfect 50 crit materia's on it. I bet 22obv saw it. Well, 50 crit materia alone is rare as hell. Personally, I've never made a single one and only seen a handful for sale since materia was introduced. These only come from belts (huge materia table), weapons (not very often, but your best chance at getting them) and hands (fairly large materia table, still a low chance).
He would have had to been extremely lucky to nail the 0.5% success rate within a few tries. Not to mention extremely lucky to find so many 50 crit materias to attempt it. Besides, if you made 150 crit body, why on earth would you risk breaking it for M4? lol Edit: These come from rings as well, but incredibly rare. |
