Should I try it? lol

26% chance for first synth and 11.1% chance for second synth (2.886%) on top of let's say 2.2 mil worth of materials, if it succeeded the item value based on those chances and cost would be 100/2.886 x 2,200,000 = 76,000,000 gil :D, though I think someone would shell out more than that for it.

Could have been done with less materia..... If we wanted to see 5 materia attached we would have just attached tier 1's ...... next

At the end of the story the young jester troll could not meld the 3rd 4th or 5th materia to his armor. While the king had x5 materia on x2 of his god-like armor as well as all the gold in the kingdom.

Thanks for the inspiration Applez. I haven't done much melding since the patch but seeing your 5 melded item motivated me to try it myself. I gave up after I went 3/12 on the double meld and decided not to blow up my last double mind hat.

what im surpirsed is that he did it with just 20 mind materias.

i blew up 20 materias just trying to get to 3rd slot
