Hey guys. I recently started leveling fishing. It's currently lvl 8 at the moment. The thing is any bait I use doesn't work. I tried different types of fishes just to pull ANYTHING out and nothing bites my rod(sexual refference there)! SE broke me or wtf is going on??

guessing hes leveling fishing on a new mule that isnt cleared or hitting 200 fish cap, most likely a new character.

If you're below level 20(it doesn't matter if you have a 75 job, but if you fish on a below 20 job, you'll hit cap in like 20 fish or something). Or if it's a new character, it'll be *** blocked for a few months or something ridic, like gardening is.
Oh, and someone brought up if you fish something too fast, you might get flagged and won't be able to fish anymore until JP reset? I dunno much about it because it hasn't happened to me yet D:

This taru was created in November 2011. I played until the end of January 2012. I reactivated again 3 days ago and decided to level fishing to 100 and enjoy this horrible game once more.
I did moat carps/crayfish in Knightswell using Halcyon+Insect Paste/Little worms. Now I'm doing Quus until like 18. JP midnight passed like 2 hours ago and since then I'm back in the game.
Does that mean I can only fish up 200 fish daily:/? Also a link to a good fishing guide would be appreciated since there's a ton of them.

Caught approx. 220 fish and I'm still going. Also forgot to mention in lvl 99.
The 200 limit resets at JP midnight, so around 2 1/2 hours ago. As far as a guide goes I never really looked at any, but I went straight to Nashmau fishing Istiridye at your level. HIgh biterate and good skillups right up to mid 50's with an NPC right beside you to npc the fish.
Well I've caught way over 250+ fish now lost count and I'm still going somehow. Everyone tells me to skill up in different places, don't know what to do! Might try your way for a little while:). Thanks for the time!

Youve caught 250 fish in the last 4 hours? Because thats when jp m/n reset.
Also, what are you reeling up?
I caught that after JM since I couldn't reel anything in before it.

That's what I was thinking too.
Other possibility is he's reeling in a fish that comes in bunches, and thinks each fish counts as a separate catch ie bastore sardines in groups of 3 iirc.

God damn, when I finally decide to go for Ebisu, everyone's off doing Matsyas. It is so hard to find Gugs on Lakshmi nowadays, and I'm 0/550 now. /wrists

There's about 5 of us now constantly camping Selbina and AH for Gugs, whoever gets back into the market could profit. Everyone wants an Ebisu now since last update, and I don't know why people aren't taking advantage of this yet on Lakshmi.

About 4 months ago, when only myslef and a ls member sold on carby, we had the price to 50k a pop. Lasted about two weeks till other people started flooding again.
I need some help. Trying to catch tiger shark for my rank up, but they're refusing to bite. 60 sliced carp so far. I have the KI and fishing is at 100. Not sure what else I'm missing :<
